It's been 5 months since Elliot and Alexis broken up and the awkwardness hasn't stop, Olivia was still getting engaged to Lance and she was getting more excited that the days and months were coming up. The wedding is in two months and 10 days, everything good was to come. Everything at the precinct has changed and it was a good change but then it wasn't, I can tell you now it's nothing compared to 1999, the new detectives have changed everything it's like there was no Fin,Munch,Elliot, Olivia, Alex , Casey, Sonia etc.

Olivia and Elliot were assigned a case together, a little boy was beaten and sexually abused and found wandering the streets of New York, they don't know who did it which made the job a little harder. Olivia and Elliot drove to mercy hospital and there was traffic going that way and there was silence as well.
"So how is your wedding coming along?" Elliot broke silence, Olivia smiled.
"It's coming along really well thanks, how are you and Kathy are you both back together?" Olivia asked, Elliot made a sound.
"Well that's good to here and yes we are we fixed everything." Elliot said confidently. Olivia's phone rang loudly and it was Lance.
"Hey honey" Olivia exclaimed with a smile, and Elliot saw the smile fade, she hung up and a tear fell from her eyes.
-Elliot's POV-
What am I doing why is this so damn awkward how did it even get like this? Just because I rushed her to get here? She's my partner it's not suppose to be like this. And she just got off the phone with her fiancée and I don't think it was a good phone call.. I can fix this..."
--POV over --
"Hey are you alright??" Elliot asked looking at him, Olivia nodded her head.
"He says he is gonna be home late... But I know he is cheating.. It's obvious .. El and I don't know what to do.." She replied to his question with sadness in her voice. They arrived at the hospital and asked the nurse what number the room is. They both got into the room to see the boy bruised at every angle. It broke Olivia and she turned around holding her mouth.
"Liv are you alright?" Elliot whispered. Olivia nodded her head and left the room. Elliot continued to the boy and sat down Olivia came in right as Elliot took out his badge and she took a seat next to him.
"Hey Ryan, I'm Olivia benson I work with the special victims unit I'm here to help you.." Olivia stated showing her badge. Ryan looked at her with sad eyes and got up to hug her tightly.
"They hurt me.." He whispered. Olivia held him softly.
"Who hurt you?" She whispered back at him, people came in the door rudely.
"Who the fuck are you!" The man yelled, Elliot got up from the seat and Olivia let go of Ryan, but Ryan held olivias hand.
"I'm detective stabler and this is my partner detective benson. We are from special victims unit." Elliot said addressing himself and showing his badge. The man looked at them in disgust and a women came in running to Ryan.
"We don't need your bullshit help now I would like you to leave NOW!!!" The man yelled. Olivia looked and Elliot they both left, but Ryan wouldn't let go, the mother pulled the hand away. They both left and gave the man the card but he ripped it up, but Olivia stopped.
"Don't you know that your son has been sexually abused and beaten I mean look at him!!" Olivia snapped, the man turned angry.
"LISTEN DETECTIVE WE HAVE IT UNDER CONTROL NOW WOULD YOU LEAVE!!!" The man yelled. They got into the car and drove off to find more evidence., but the car was silent.
"He told me 'they' who's they.." Olivia trailed off, Elliot looked at her.
"We will find out who it is." Elliot said Softly.
---back at the precinct----
There was only one piece of evidence that gave them nothing, elliot was on his computer searching more about the family and it was clear. Olivia snuck out to go see Ryan, Olivia walked into the room quietly to see Ryan Laying there in tears.
"Hey Ryan.." Olivia said gently, Ryan looked at her and smiled and got up to hug her and she hugged back.
"Im scared.." He said sadly, olivia lifted him on the bed and sat down next to him.
"They..." He trailed.. "They beat me...all of them.. They just wouldn't stop flashing cameras and hitting and hitting and "you will never learn son" i want to die" he trailed off with tears in his eyes. Olivia held his hand trying to comfort him.
"Tell me who...I need to know who so I can put them away..." Olivia said trying to get an answer, he was quiet.
"I can't or I will go into a foster home.." He said. Olivia looked at him in sadness.
"Are you saying your parents did this?" Olivia asked, Ryan sat still without a word.
"Yes.. And my uncle..but my dad is the one who started it and there was a stranger who would always be there" he said completely. The whole family came in rude as always. Olivia looked at Ryan and squeezed his little hand gently and faced the people.
"What are you doing here bitch?" The man said, Olivia called for back up arrested all of them. The man hit Olivia in the face.
"Arresting you cause you like to abuse kids, and now you're going to jail for it, who's the bitch now.." Olivia said laughing while cuffing.
---- 3 days later----
Ryan was going into foster care and was scared of it but realized how much better it would be.
"Can't you adopt me?" Ryan asked Olivia, Olivia looked at Elliot.
"I would love to but I can't.." Olivia said sadly. Ryan had sad eyes and hugged her tightly not wanting to let go but was carried away by the men. Olivia and Elliot stood there watching Ryan being taken away, Ryan looked back and waved.

Olivia wanted Ryan but with Lance changing she couldn't .
