Part 16

9:30am ~
Olivia was sound asleep until a loud thump came from the kitchen, it was Lance drunk as always Olivia got up to go see what had happen, he was throwing plates with a bottle of scotch in his hand. Olivia went close to touch him to relax but he hit her across the face which made her fall, she held her face and got up to go to the bathroom and cried.
"Liv im sorry I didn't mean to.." Lance said knocking on the door realizing what he had done. Olivia continued to cry and got into the shower and quickly got dressed to go to work, but the thing that was stopping her is the bruise that was visible on her cheek, she dosed herself in make up and walked out the door leaving Lance who was sleeping on the couch.
  As Olivia got into the precinct, she saw the two new detectives all lovey dovey kissing each other and very touchy, they saw Olivia looking and stopped and went in different directions. She went to her desk and was looking over paperwork and came across a child drawling of her and someone Olivia was confused but had a thought.
"Ryan.." She said smiling, everyone looked at her because she did not look the same as any other day.
"Liv you look very different today." Fin said with a smile, Olivia looked at fin with a face.
"I do?" She says pretending to be confused, fin laughed and walked away.
"Look very nice though Liv." He said walking. Olivia continued to work, but Elliot came in with Kathy following. Olivia smiled at Kathy.
"She looks different.." Kathy said quietly to Elliot, Elliot was confused so he looked at Olivia and noticed and was confused. Olivia noticed everyone looked so she ignored it and continued to work.
-5 hours later-
"Hey liv ... You okay.." Elliot asked, she looked up and nodded her head.
"Why?" She asked. Elliot moved his head to look at an angle of her face.
"Cause you wore more makeup than usual." He said with a straight face.
Olivia shed a tear remembering why she had put on make up.
"Don't worry about it.." She said getting up to the coffee station, there was a loud noise coming out of the hallway and it was Lance still shit face drunk.
"WHERE IS OLIVIA!!!!" Lance shouted scaring everyone, olivias eyes widened, burning her hands while pouring the coffee that was overflowing.  She stopped and turned around.
"OLIVIA! You just fucking left this morning!! Without letting me fucking know where the hell you were.." Lance said getting closer raising his hand about to punch her but Elliot stopped that hand by pushing him down, Olivia just stared into space not realizing what had happen.
"OLIVIA!!" Lance yelled from the floor and the pressure of Elliot's weight, Elliot looked at her.
"That's why .." Elliot said quietly and handcuffed Lance.
"Lance Sanchez, you are under arrest for the women battery and the assault of a police officer and coming to a precinct under the influence you have the right to remain silent anything you do or say can and will be used against you in a court of law , you have the right to an attorney if you cannot afford one one will be appointed to you." Elliot said lifting Lance up rough and putting him in the jail cell. Olivia was still looking at the floor, shedding one more tear making the make up smear, everyone looked and was scared. Elliot went to Olivia and hugged her but she didn't hug back.
"I'm not pressing charges.." She mumbled and Elliot stopped hugging her.
"Liv..he almost hit you and I know he hit you this morning..you have to.." Elliot said trying to stay calm. Olivia moved away slowly.
"I'm not pressing charges.." Olivia said once more, Elliot looked at her for a while.
"I'm keeping him in their till he is sober then." He said fighting back, Olivia nodded her head fighting back tears of what happened, Elliot looked at Lance then back at Olivia, Lance looked at Olivia for the longest time.
Elliot saw a little boy standing and witnessed what had happen, the little boy came close to Olivia and hugged her, she noticed it was Ryan. She hugged him gently and Elliot went over to see him as well, but when Ryan looked up there was a bruise on his chin, Olivia lifted his chin up.
"Soccer accident.." He said very believable. Elliot hugged him.
"How have you been little guy!" Elliot said smiling , Ryan smiled back.
"I've been good very busy.. School is ....okay.. But I have to go now.." Ryan said quickly and giving a hug and a little kiss to Olivia and left running. Olivia and Elliot looked at each other.
