I obviously love writing and English and shit but holy fuck how I wish I was not required to take English 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've always kind of just dealt with the annoyingness of English class but only now has shit really hit the fan.
I AM SO TIRED OF WRITING ESSAYS BASED ON THE SAME SIXTEEN PROMPTS!!!
basically honors English 10 is preparing you for AP English next year which they just assume we're all going to take bc we made it this far. so u read books and write essays on them. cool, I like books except I don't get to pick which book I read.
I will read just about any book but having to force a reaction to it out of me is so difficult. some books really effect me and others are good but I have no connection to them therefore it's not fun to write an essay about.
idk that's all I have to say. fuck the way English is taught. literally sucking away all my creativity.
