okay, so i just remembered this and it really bugged me.
so, in English class we were having a socratic seminar (i love these things btw) and we were on this: "killing another human being is intolerable and should always be punished"
and so we start talking about death row. but as we're discussing i hear a lot of people mentioning what they've learned on tv shows!!! and not even like documentaries, they were mentioning stuff like Criminal Minds or Orange is the New Black.
listen kids; not everything on a scripted TV show is straight up 100% accurate. Yes, a lot of times it's very close, but sometimes they change things to add drama.
even though that wasn't that big of a deal, it worries me what other things they'll start believing just because they heard it on a show.
