yes, I love that we're finally addressing the flaw in the judicial system when it comes to handling female rapists, but this tweet does not really capture what's actually going on.
the sexism against women is a background thing.
the main form of inequality going on is that people think males can't be raped and they don't feel bad for a male if they are raped by a female because they think all males enjoy all sex.
the whole "this poor woman can't handle jail thing" is a small factor. plz focus on the real issue. bc if a story came out about a male getting raped by a female the comments wouldn't be:
"she doesn't deserve jail, she can't handle it"
instead they're:
"she doesn't deserve jail, the guy probably liked it anyway. if that was me, I would've. she's hot."
