i and so tired of these nasty little 13 yo tumblr/twitter "intersectional feminists" trying to say that dreads are cultural appropriation. they are not.
it is just a hairstyle. like the only group that dreads actually have meaning to are Rastafarian so if u really wanna get technical don't wear them unless you are a Rastafarian. bye!!!!!!
but for real. shut the fuck up when a regular white girl wears dreads or corn rows. stop trying to be mad at her. instead be mad at all the actual racist things she's done.
(speaking of dreads, I'm half white and I have curly hair but if I miss a tangle for too long or something my hair will literally dread on its own it's crazy and really annoying.)
