Drowning

Sometimes I fell like I'm drowning...

I feel that pressure on my chest,

And feel the water filling my lungs.

But I seem never to die.

Like I'm living in hell.

I can't even think straight.

I told him, I told him I would be strong.

Strong for him.

And at this point,

He's the only thing,

Keeping me alive.

Those voices, the ones who kill me inside,

They almost got me today.

I was holding a pair of scissors,

Hidin' away in my bathroom, nobody would of heard me.

But I didn't.

I can't do it.

I won't do it.

Because he knew,

He knew what I was about to do.

He was blowing up my phone.

I had layed them on my skin but didn't move them.

Then, I chucked them against the wall.

They broke.

This tells you exactly what depression is doing to me. I can't think straight, let alone be strong. I almost did it. And I can't believe I let it do this to me.
