Elijah's Viewpoint:

I've been wandering around in the forest for countless of hours now. And since that time, my companion and I haven't even thought of where we were headed to. All I know was that I was famished and weak. I could barely move an inch of my beaten body.

Unfortunately for me, my journey was about to end as the graceful giant gently laid me down by the side of a gigantic oak tree.

"Look," I said, desperately trying to talk to the poor animal, "I don't know if you can understand me or not, but... I'd like to thank you for saving my life."

"I'd really-" I continued on with bated breathe, "appreciate it though if, you can keep me company... just for a few minutes and then- aughh, you can leave."

I was beginning to feel a slight chill down my spine and to my amazement, the Dire Woltahx wrapped its long fuzzy body around mine. It was so comforting and not to mention warm.

"Ahhh, much better. Thanks."

As I ran my fingers down its soft fur, I began to drift back to sleep. I knew that in a few hours that he'd leave, but that didn't matter to me at the moment. A few hours later, my hunches were correct and I was unmistakably alone.

"It was fun while it lasted." I said to myself.

Next thing I knew, I heard something rattling behind some of the bushes and with my arms raised, prepared to fight-out whatever it was back there, I was completely shocked to see no other than my furry friend. And this time, he had brought me back a gift.

He laid down a variety of fruit ranging from apples, bananas and berries it had in his mouth and began to sit by me again.

"Huh, well what do you know? You really are a smart one aren't you?"

Once again, I thanked him for the meal and together we sat and ate quietly. After a few minutes have passed, it seems like both of us have become the most unlikeliest of friends. I didn't want to leave him on his own and neither did he. I wish it were like this forever.

"At least I have you now. It's better than having no one... I guess..."

By the time I've fully gathered enough of my energy and strength, I've decided to push-on, forward with my new found ally. And since I was a bit soar from last night, my friend let me rest lightly upon his shoulder as we continued on.

The night began to surround us and I knew we were in a lot of trouble. We needed a place to hide but unfortunately, there was no spot nor shade to be found close by. I started to feel nauseous and I felt a searing pain emanating from the back of my neck. We were in a totally bad situation. And just when I was about to loose hope, the Woltahx swiftly heaved me up its back and raced its way out onto the open fields.

For a brief second, I caught a glimpse of what appeared to look like a small stone hut. And as we moved closer to it, my heart was filled with utter satisfaction. This young fella was able to find sanctuary in the middle of nowhere and I'm eternally grateful for that. Imagine if it was only me. I'd be a goner by then.

Today has certainly been a long day and all I'd really want now, more than anything, was my memory. Sure I maybe tired, but there was something very familiar about this place that took me aback. The ceilings still seemed to be intact and the smell of old dried-up meat was very much recognizable. Nonetheless, I had to keep an eye-out for my partner for without him, I'd certainly wouldn't have made it out alive.

"It seems to me that I'd better give you a name... Hmmmm would Dahx sound nice?"

He simply acknowledged my presence and shook his head, as if it was an agreement.

"I'll take it as a yes then."

After long hours of struggling to survive, today was actually the best day of my life. I slept peacefully that night, rest assured that I was with my companion.

"... my only companion..."

Tina'e's Viewpoint:

With my thoughts still a drift, I knew that I couldn't stay here any longer. With Al and Ely now gone, there's no point for me in staying here. I have to leave. I must leave or else I'll put the rest of them in danger. I wouldn't want anymore deaths.

The thought of their corpses just floating in the midst of the water made me so uneasy.

"Imagine if it wasn't only them... Imagine if it was a sea of dead bodies...

death...

TOO MUCH DEATH!"

I couldn't hold my anger in any longer. I knew that I had to let it out, but my head began to throb again as if  another incantation had got a hold of me.

"Ughh, I-I have-to go- n-oo-ww, ughh! Before things get any worse..."

"I believe, they already are..."

As I turned around, that voice... that very familiar voice is the only thing that was standing between me and the door.

"Hello... child..."

His grim smile brought me nothing but pain and despair...

And now, it was definitely time to Go...
