Tina'e's Viewpoint:

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and the bright sun on my face. But that wasn't the only thing that startled me. Right above my face was the princes' face!

"GOOD MORNING!" He exclaimed.

His voice was so loud that it knocked me out of the bed.

"Arghhh!" I screamed out.

I accidentally gave him a slap.

"OW! Ha, what was that for? After all the trouble I came here to wake you." He replied.

"S-s-s-s-s-o-o-r-r-y." I said in a soft whisper.

"Nah, that's alright." He said.

"Oh, sorry to be rude."

He bent over one knee.

"What's up with these people in kneeling?" I thought to myself.

"Let's start over. After all, I haven't formally introduced myself. My name is Derekyanu, but you can call me Derek for short." He said with a smile upon his face.

I just stood there, speechless; not capable enough to think of what to say next.

But as I was about to say something, Argo came bursting through the doors with another man, who I bet was the King.

Now, I guess it was my time to bow. Both of them slowly approached me and commanded me to stand.

"Welcome to our humble abode." The King said.

"If my sources are correct- he looked at Argo- your name must be Tina'e." He continued. "I'm happy to have you as my guest-."

But Derek stopped him in mid-sentence,

"Okay uncle, she gets it. I bet she wants to go out and have fun! Am I right?" said Derek.

"Derek, would you please stop interrupting me? You know this is very important." Dale responded while looking sternly at his nephew.

"Ugh, fiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnneeeeee..."

"Anyway, before I was rudely interrupted, I would like to see to it that you would enjoy your stay. Mind if I escort you to the dining hall?" The King said this as he offered a hand to me. I hastily took his arm and we made our way to the hall.

Upon reaching the place, everywhere I turned was magnificent! Pillars of concrete were scattered throughout the entire room and vines were entwined around them. It was like you were stepping out into the jungle, but inside the palace.

T'was an amazing sight. As I sat down beside the right side of the King, the rooftops of the hall opened. Not only was there so much light, but also lots of fresh air.

Once everyone was in their respective seats, Derek in front of me, the King beside me and Argo on my left, a woman appeared in the doorway.

She was very mesmerizing.

Her clothes were covered in the softest silk with a touch of gold. Her facial features looked very sharp, but what caught my attention were her eyes. They were a light color of hazel.

She slowly entered the room and sat down on the left side of Dale.

"Good morning everyone, and to our valued guest," she said. "I want to welcome you to our home." My name is Aloria and I will be your hostess for the duration of your stay."

I suspected that she was the wife, but apparently she was not.

"Mom!"  Derek belched out, annoyed. "Can we please just skip the introductions and start the banquet?"
