A New Threat

One year has passed since the peace terms. The country is relatively happy, and no major disturbances have occurred. Yet.
I thought my life would be simple, look after the country and relax. But it all started again.
Jun ran into my room and shouted. "Rivio! You need to see this!"
"What is it?"
"Come outside!"
The warm air of the summer breezed around me as I stepped outside with Jun.
"Follow me. Aria's gonna meet us there."
When we reached our destination, I was shocked.
An unexploded bomb. What? Why was this here?
"Rivio, it washed up on the shore this morning. They don't know what make it is, but they're trying to disarm it."
As if on cue, the bomb have a large beep, and stopped ticking away.
"How old is it? Can they tell?"
"Apparently it's recently made. About a few weeks, to be exact. They've got no idea where from, though."
The bomb beeped again.
"What the hell? I thought they disarmed i-"
It exploded, and sent us flying back into the air. Blood matted my clothes, and the area was covered in thick brown smoke.
I passed out after observing my surroundings.

My senses returned hours later. I wasn't in a hospital, or in Jun's house.
The room I was in was dark, and other than the light shining on my face, that was it.
A masked figure stepped in, and spoke in a feminine voice.
"Rivio Agani. My colleagues and I are part of the LR unit, a unit that is working to bring you and your fellow leaders down."
"Why?"
"Peace is not the way forward. Humans throughout history have fought and came out better. Peace is not the answer!"
"Shut the hell up. If humans ha-"
The woman stabbed a knife into my cheek.
I recoiled in pain, screaming all the while.
"That's what people like you deserve!"
She swiftly exited the room, while I was left suffering for hours.

She eventually reappeared. This time, Jun was accompanying her. He was battered and bruised, but gave me a shaky grin as he sat down.
"Alright Rivi-"
"Silence! You don't get to talk!"  The woman screeched. She then placed a small revolver on the table, and pointed it at Jun. She fired, but it was just a blank. His face relaxed, but then the woman pointed it at me.
It went off, but this time hit my shoulder. She'd miscalculated her shot.
Still, I was in pain.
Whoever the woman was, she left the room, but a short man came in after her. He picked up where she left off, and carried on this sick game. When Jun's turn came around again, he grabbed the revolver, having freed himself from being tied up.
They both fought for a second, but Jun gained the upper hand and fired the gun. It pierced the man's head, and he fell, dead.
"Jun! Untie me!"
"Okay, we need.....we need a plan."
Eventually we just decided to sneak out of the bunker. It took a good hour, weaving in and out of guards and cameras. Rebels. These are what these guys are.
Two voices came from ahead as we neared the exit. It was up a flight of stairs, and a room lay at the top. Me and Jun listened in.
"Marcus. The two of them are captive. What should we do?"
"Make them pay. They left both of us for dead. You remember?"
"I'm hardly likely to forget. They can't see my face, so they won't remember me."
"Good."
Marcus Wesson was still alive. The Coldheart leader I'd fought and "killed" was breathing.
How?
Jun took off running towards the exit, and I followed close. Marcus and the woman ran after us as we broke into sunlight.
Snow dotted the landscape as we sprinted through the forest surrounding the bunker we were trapped in.
Just when I thought we were clear, a bullet flew through my leg, and I fell over. Jun turned to help me, but I was dragged away.
"Go! I'll be fine!"
Tears in his eyes, Jun ran away. The next few weeks of my life would change me. Forever.

Sorry that the chapter is a bit short! Who do you guys think the LR unit are? And what will happen to Rivio?
