I'm really sorry the chapter is so short, but it wraps up act two.

"You have twenty minutes to choose. We will allow you to see your friends, but under supervision."
So then I was marched to see Jun and Aria. They were held in rooms identical to mine, and I assumed they'd heard the same news as me. Jun spoke first once we were all together.
"Me. Let me do it."
"No. I should do it." Aria said.
"Guys, stop. It's whoever has the least to lose really." I argued.
"Look Rivio, you and Jun are good leaders. I don't need-"
"Aria, don't. I'll do it. Jun, you're the best leader that this country has, and I won't stand to see you die, Aria."
"Well, a year ago we were walking along beaches. Now Lizzy's dead, and one of us will be too." Aria moaned.
TEN MINUTES REMAINING
The loud voice boomed over the speakers.
"I'll do it. Jun, Aria, let me do it." I faced death in the cave where we fought Marcus.
Both Jun and Aria hugged me, as the countdown fell to zero.
"I won't forget you man. You were the best damn friend ever." Jun cried. He also whispered, "We'll make these bastards pay."
"Rivio, I lo-" Aria was cut short as three guards entered the room. I made my choice then, and was taken away to a black room. My thoughts were of my friends as Marcus entered the room.
"It's brave of you to offer yourself like this, Rivio. Lesser men would cry at the thought. You would make an excellent Coldheart."
"Fuck you. Just get it over with."
"Language, my friend. Release the gas!" Marcus walked slowly out of the room, as a white gas entered the room.
Aria. Jun. Renée. Lizzy. Walter. Everyone I knew flashed through my mind.
A few minutes later, the way the world knew me died.
