A Heartbreaking Choice

I went see Jun in the hospital not long after Aria told me he was burnt. He was unconscious, and his skin was ragged and red.
I made the decision to hunt Marcus down. Aria said she'd come too.
The town had recovered from the virus now, and life was slowly returning. It kind of irritated me that I had to suffer while all the people just drank, partied, slept and had fun. Aria got in her car, and the two of us drove to the shipwreck to search for clues.
It had snowed heavily while I was out, and that was a good thing. We could see large footprints in the snow, that led into a nearby cave. It was the only leader we had, so I followed closely. Aria was not far behind me.
The cave was dimly lit by orange torches. It gave off a creepy impression, and far ahead I heard faint footsteps.
As we got closer, I saw Marcus. Blood ran down his face, and I told Aria to stay behind, in case things got bad.
"Okay, Rivio. Be careful. I'm not in the mood to drag your dead body back to Letti." She jokily whispered.
I crouched down and snuck over to Marcus, who was talking to himself.
"Fuck. What do I do now? The LR unit is damn broken."
"You die." I stabbed him in the back with a knife I'd brought from the town.
"Rivio! You live! A fight worthy of my time now awaits me!"
He kicked out at me and I fell to the ground. He pulled out the knife from his back and threw it at me. I dodged quickly and punched him in the side of his face. He brought his elbow around and clubbed me in the head.
"Rivio!" Aria was running over. Marcus easily threw her to the side, but she ran at him again almost instantly. This time, he grabbed the knife of the ground, and was ready to throw it at her. I tackled Aria out of the way, but the knife hit me straight in the chest.
I fell over, gasping for breath. Aria ran to my side.
"By the way Rivio, this place is going to collapse in about thirty seconds. I've rigged the walls to explode in case someone like you walked in. Goodbye."
He walked out again. This time I'd die from the explosion.
"Rivio, I need you to help me. Can you walk?" Aria's eyes were glistening as she spoke.
"Aria, go. There's no need for you to stay. I-i ain't making it out of here."
"Yeah you can. Don't just give up!"
"Aria, go!" The walls were already shaking.
She looked at me, tears falling down her face before holding my hand for one last time. Then she ran away.
I was left with about ten seconds of my life. Three figures approached me.
The first was Renée.
"Rivio, you can come with me again!" A grin spread across my sister's face.
The second was Lizzy.
"Hey Rivio, looks like you ran out of luck." She smiled at me.
The third, was my father.
"Rivio, my boy. You fought for what you believed in, and for that I am honoured to call you my son."
My life swept away from me, and for a long time, I thought I was dead.

When I woke up, I was in a bright white room. Two shadowy figures were stood behind a glass window that I was facing. I was sat in a black chair.
"Rivio Agani. You are held under the grip of the LR unit." A posh male voice boomed over the speakers.
"What, I thought your unit was finished?"
"You thought wrong. I'm giving you a choice."
His next words were the most startling ever.
"We are also holding your friends Jun Xiao and Aria Scalleti. You make the choice. One of the three of you has to die. It's up to you, to choose who. If the survivors carry on trying to stop the LR unit, we will kill the remaining two, too."
What should I do? Kill myself, Jun, or Aria? If we carried on fighting them once we were out of this place, they said they'd kill all of us.
Who should I choose to kill?

Hey guys, this is a confusing chapter but everything will be explained in the next part. Who do you think Rivio should choose to kill?
