The casual city of Mobiotropolis...
Everything is quiet. The children are in school. The adults and parents are at work. And not a worry to be honed. No violence. Life is everywhere.
The jogger casually had her music playing, as she ran around the corporate office building in the massive, skyscraper filled city. The fox changed the peppy song, to something more suitable for running. She ran passed the mailman, who friendly waved at her.
He watched her smile as she ran by. He placed the medium sized box in the blue delivery box in front of the building. He walked away, and once again glanced at the jogger's butt as he turned away. "Damn." He said to himself, as walked back the opposite way.
But as he turned the corner, he heard screaming. Frightened, he watched the nearby people running away in fear. He heard a loud cracking sound above him, and looked up. He was then instantly crushed by a massive chunk of the building falling from the top.
Circling the top of the skyscraper, was a flying blue figure. He flew straight down the street, breezing passed more tall buildings. On his tail, was anther flying object. A light gray one. It chased the blue robot, as it turned, curved and dashed around the buildings trying to evade the gray animal.
"Crap.. I'm about to lose him!" The gray hedgehog said angrily. Blue aura surrounded him as he followed the blue robots. He watched the robot quickly dash left around a corner building, then disappearing. "Damn it!" He exclaimed. He then held his wrist up to his mouth.
"Shadow, he's headed down 45th! I lost him!" He said loudly. "I'll catch him. You just try and track him." Shadow said, then ending the call. He nodded, then continued to fly down the path he pursued. "Now where did you go- "Right here." A dark voice cut him off.
The gray hedgehog was then slammed into the side of a building. People screamed in terror as more ruble and destroyed pieces fell to the far drop down on the street and shops. He laid down on a destroyed office desk, with broken computers and office supplies surrounding him.
He slowly opened his eyes, and saw the evil blue robot, standing before him. "Silver the Hedgehog... It's a pleasure." It snickered without a mouth. "Wow.. You're even uglier up close." Silver chuckled. The robot went for a punch, but Silver grabbed his fist. He slowly tried crushing it with his armored glove.
The evil cyborg then threw him father down the office area with great force. Silver finally stopped sliding on the ground, by propping his feet back. He then held up his wrist, and fire multiple plasma rounds at the beast. Every shot missed except the one that hit him in the shoulder.
He quickly flew towards him, and grabbed Silver by the top head quills. He flew out of the far wall, as swung Silver towards the ground. But Silver once again stopped himself by using his psychokinesis. "Not so tough out here are ya." Silver chuckled.
"Quite the opposite." It glared at him with its red digital eyes, and held his arm out. A missile flew out of his palm and at Silver. As he dodged it, he quickly fired back more plasma rounds. Silver tackled him in the air, and flew straight down at the sidewalk by the cafe.
The bystanders ran, as Silver and Metal Sonic smashed into the concrete. As he was stuck by his back, he and Silver began a close quarter battle. Silver held off both arms, while speaking into the other wrist gauntlet of his suit. "Shadow! 45th!! We're on fourty- ahh!" He was then punched in the jaw by its metallic fist.
As it freed itself from the ground, it stood above Silver. "Pathetic organic life." He cracked as he picked Silver up, and threw him through the outdoor cafe window. Silver landed hard in the tile floor, with people still running out in fear.
"This is w-why I hate machines.." He said as he saw part of his suit torn. He swiped the broken glass and wood off his body, then stood up, ready for another fist fight. "What a hero you are... Already tore up half the city... Trying to scrap me." The evil cyborg laughed.
"Let's see how long it takes the other half." Silver smirked like a smartass. "You organics are all the same. Emotions are a weakness. They are the strings that hold you together. But me..? I have nothing but wires and cords holding me together." He said darkly.
"Alright Ultron, then what's keeping me from tearing them out of you?" Silver cracked. "You dare mock me mortal? You can't take apart what you can't touch! Is this your plan? Just to defeat me with talk?" Metal Sonic questioned in disgust.
"Nope. I'm just stalling you, ya piece of tin." Silver smirked. Angrily, Metal Sonic was about to fly at Silver. But right as his feet came off the ground, he was immediately tackled to his side. He was then grounded, by a black and red hedgehog. He had the same suit on as Silver.
"Bout time." Silver said impatiently. "Save it. We still have people to evacuate." The dark voiced hedgehog spoke. "Got it!" Silver nodded, then flew off. Shadow looked back at the robot, the tried to reach in his open chest.
The robot used its long, sharp fingers to dig into his arm as he tried to reach in. "Ahh!" Shadow said in pain, as Metal Sonic picked him up by his arm as threw him through the cafe wall. Shadow skid across the road, hitting his back on the store walls beside him.
As he looked back up, he split second dodged a sword jab coming right at him. The black hedgehog leaned to his right, barely dodging the long blade. He then elbows the blade on the flat end, breaking it from Metal Sonic's wrist. He kicked him off, and pulled the sword from the wall. He then threw the blade at him, hitting it right in the chest turbine.
The robot crippled to the ground, holding its sparking chest. "How's that feel." Shadow smirked. "How about you find out!!" It shouted, and pulled the sword out. He then tried to jab it straight at Shadow's chest. He again dodged it, and punched it in the left eye port.
But, Metal Sonic had finally had enough. He stopped Shadow by his next fist, and clenched tight. He then held him up in the air by his own hand. He then rapidly punched Shadow in the chest and stomach dozens of times within seconds.
He then dropped Shadow to the ground, leaving him bruised and blood gushing from his mouth. "W-where's that blue idiot when y-you need him.." He wheezed to himself.
__________________________"Circling drop zone in 30 seconds!" The pilot yelled in the cargo bay. One of the GUN agents turned to the pilot and nodded. "Alright! You ready hedgehog?!" He yelled. He then pressed a button, dropping the back door.
A blue hedgehog lifted his head up from looking down, with a smirk. "Baby I was born ready for this shit!" The blue hedgehog smirked. He stood up, and held on to the rail on the roof of the aircraft. He leaned forward, and looked out the back of the carrier.
He saw they were hundreds of thousands of feet high above the ground. He grabbed the helmet from the seat against the wall, and put it on his head. It secured tightly, as his HUD came up on his screen. "ALRIGHT!! HERE WE GO!!" He yelled, as he ran, and jumped off the end.
"Alright Sonic!! You're clear for jump!" Tikal, the pilot yelled. "Uh Shade.." The agent said. "Huh?" She turned around and questioned. "He's already gone..." The agent said. She looked out the back. "Idiot.." She pinched the bridge of her nose.
