A War on Blood

"Yes... YES YES YES!!!" Scourge screamed from the control room. He watched happily, as the once great Defenders began pounding each other. "Scourge?" Fiona asked curiously, as she walked in. He quickly turned around, grinning ear to ear.

"It's working! Babe our plan! It's working flawlessly!" He smiled in satisfaction. "What are they doing?" She questioned. "Having them die in the explosion didnt work as well as I thought. But, some good did come out of it. Not only did that bitch Sally perish in the detonation, but now they blame each other." He cackled.

"Whoa.. this plan did work." She slightly laughed. "So... Does that mean..?" Fiona stopped. "Gear up. It's our time to shine." He smiled, and walked with her down the hallway. "Scourge... I've been meaning to ask you something." Fiona questioned.

He looked at her curiously. "If Sonic is your alter... Then why do you hate he and Silver equally? What did Silver do that rotted you?" She asked. He stopped. He stared her right in the eye. Then, he looked down and rubbed the two scars on his chest. "Did he... Do this?" She questioned, and slightly stroked it.

"... Because of him, I lost the best thing of our cause." He said lightly. "What was it..?" She questioned. Scourge tensed up, with large bowling ball eyes. "Scourge?" She asked in concern. Multiple voice and memories from his past, all flooded his brain. He then saw a flash of an image of a giant monster, jumping at him.

Scourge leaped backwards, hitting the wall in fear. He began panting and gasping for air. "Scourge!" She yelled in fear. He looked back at her, and blinked rapidly, getting his head back together. She then helped him back up. "Are you okay?! Did I say something?!" She asked in fear.

"J-just... Go get ready then board the shuttle... I'll meet you there.." he said, now all shaken up. He then ran the other way, holding his forehead.

Nothing but blood and sweat, flung onto the now scarred up battlefield. Police barriers and men sealed off the wreckage site, and tried to block cameras and news reporters from covering the action. But police and news choppers peppered the sky, shinning lights on the massive brawl between the old friends. The police yelled at the crowd to stay back, with them yelling back.

Shadow was flung into the destroyed wall by Knuckles, while he stood back up. Shadow dived back at him, completely ignoring the damage he just took. When he did, he back flipped over him and grabbed his long dreadlocks. He then slammed the back of his head into the ground.

He tried to get back up, but Shadow kicked him back down. "We're still friends... Right?" He mocked Knuckles sentence from the government facility. But as he walked away, he grabbed Shadow's foot, and threw him high into the air. He then side kicked him way passed Nicole.

Nicole was fighting Shade, both making fist contact to each other's hand. As they flew back, Shade got to her feet first. She then dashed back at Nicole with her fast reflexes. When Nicole tried to punch her, she grabbed her fist, then kneed her in the jaw.

"So much for a boobless skank." Shade said, and held her on the ground. Nicole was helpless, trying to escape her tough foot. "Admit it AI... you were never a real person. Pff, even if you were, look what you turned out to be. A hopeless. Little. Girl." She grinned. That, is what finally boiled Nicole's artificial blood.

"I AM NOT A LITTLE GIRL!" She finally screamed. She picked up Shade's foot, and lifted it as she painfully tried to stand. She lifted her straight up in the air by her foot, holding her upside down.

She then flew straight into the air, and dove back down to the ground. As she did, she threw Shade by her foot, right at a destroyed floor part. Shade was instantly scarred up by the metal beams and poles sticking out of the parts. Presuming Shade dead, Nicole flew back into the battle. She then flew right over TECH and Manic, who were fighting Rouge and Vector.
