"So... Our cause has grown drastically since I've been gone. Impressive babe." Scourge said, as he and Fiona walked down the high catwalk. "Well, it was only able to happen with your return. Our cause was weakening, so we looked desperately to find our leader again." She smiles proudly.

"No... Their leader. Your boyfriend." He winked at her. "And that's why, you and I rule all this with an iron fist." He he grabbed her shoulder with on hand, and hand swayed at their army with his other. "Well, I tried my best since you were gone." She blushed.

"And now that I'm here... Phase 2 can be put into action." He smirked evilly as he watched all the dropships being boarded. "Will we go with them?" Fiona asked. "Not yet. We can't show them I'm back yet. Besides, they already have a new enemy." Scourge said happily.

"Which is...?" She questioned, lost. "Each other." He smiled greatly with his sharp white teeth. "Oh baby you have no clue what surprises we set." She smiled on delight. "When you were taken from us, we decided there had to be an easier way to be rid of those vile Defenders. So we set this plan into action." She said, as they walked down a set of metal steps.

"You see these men Fiona? They symbolize everything we stand with. They prove there is no greater cause...

Than revenge..."

"So... We're really going with this.." Manic complained. "What other plan do you have, smart guy?" Shadow mocked Manic. "Yeah Manic! It's a hidden location. We're now a secret organization. Put the pieces together.." Sally said, as she ran her hands along the large mountain in the forest.

"What are you even doing Sally?" Tails blurted out. She didn't answer, she just kept sliding her hands against the rock, while she slowly walked away from the group. "I think she's lost it.." Tails whispered to Manic. "Don't make me hit you boy." His aunt scolded him.

"Aha!" She then said. Everyone's ears then perked up, as Sally started knocking on the hard mountain. But it didn't make a crunch sound like usual mountains. It made a clanking sound, like a hammer on metal. She then stopping sliding her hands, as her fingers found a crease in the wall.

She pulled with all her might, as everyone watched in awe as the part of the mountain began to slide open in a rectangular shape. It revealed a pitch black hole. "Woah. Trippy." Manic commented. "Shut up and just go inside." Sally complained, and was first into the dark hallway.

Sally looked around carefully, hoping to remember where the switch was. "It's over here somewhere, Sal." Sonic spoke out, as they were all deep into the darkness. As he ran his finger along the hard, metal wall, he found a control panel. "Told ya." He smirked.

He flung the cover open, and flicked a switch up. As he did, an even longer hallway than thought was revealed by the a long row of lights. "After all these years... This place still held up." Sally said in awe, remembering all the Freedom Fighters had done.

"This is where you were when you left Sonia and I? All those years when the Sonic Underground disbanded?" Manic questioned in shock. "Yup. This place was the home of our rallied Freedom Fighters." Sonic smiled. Just thinking of good times made he and Sally smile.

"Impressive design. Sally who built this place?" Shadow asked, as they turned down another hallway. "Sonic, me, and an old friend named Rotor." She answers. Rotor the Walrus was an old friend of the original Freedom Fighters.  He was a mechanic, engineer, and inventor.

"Stop." Sally said, as she halted the group. She then saw a room, with a big metal door. "We're here." Sally said, and typed a code into the door's keypad. "How the hell do you still remember all these codes and stuff?" Manic asked.

"When ya have to do it a thousand times, it really implants itself in your head." Sally chuckled, then walked in the sliding door. Once the team got in, they were awestruck. It was a massive control room. Bigger than the one at Defenders HQ.

"Wow. You guys really knew how to maximize space huh." Tails commented. "Yup. Tails you were in here when you were just a baby. I remember sitting you on that console as I did surveillance." Sally grinned. She pointed to the main control panel on the wall, with a pivoting chair.

"Let's see if this baby still works.." Sally said curiously. She then pressed a red switch, as a thousand lights in the room flickered and lit up. Then, the massive 12 foot screen turned on. "Shadow, I detect another presence here." TECH, his AI advisor then spoke. Everyone's eyes bolted open at the news.

"Who else is here?!" Sally said in shock and confusion. Then, the automatic door shut. They watched the dial turned, as it locked. The screen went to static, as the lights were just instantly killed. "Uh... What's going on?!" Sonic said in fear, as they all huddled together.

"TECH! Tell us what the hell is going on!" Shadow yelled at his assistant. Here holo form then popped up on his wristwatch. "I detect another life form! And it's not organic either.." TECH said curiously. "Wait.. It's not alive??" Tails asked in confusion. "AH HELL NO I DON'T DO GHOSTS MAN!" Manic screamed.

"Accessing computer mainframe..." They then heard a female voice. "Wait a second... I know that voice." Sally thought. It was familiar to Sonic as well. "But... It's impossible.." Sonic gasped, as he and Sally looked at each other.

"Trespasser alert! Displaying defenses!" The voice then said with more character. "Nicole!.. NICOLE!!! Stop! IT'S US!!" Sally yelled, as they all watched weapons and defenses pop out of the walls. As they were all charging up, the voice didn't comply.

"OVERIDE! KEYWORD:ACORN!!" Sally then yelled to the top of her lungs. The lasers and lights, stopped on the weapons. The room went still with silence, as everyone looked around. "Nicole... It's me... Sally.." She said as she breathes heavily.

"Sally..." The voice said with a distraught tone. The weapons receded back into the walls, as the lights came back on. The buzzing screen, then went to straight blue. Like you'd see on an old VHS player. "It can't be..." Sonic gasped again.

The bright blue screen, then began a statically loud notice, as they saw it start to move. As it did, they saw an arm form. As it came farther out, more of a figure of a body began to appear. It's head formed, with long, tall ears. And it has long hair waving from the back of its head.

As it was finally free from the screen, it started filling the solid blue with solid color. It came out to be a female, brown Lynx. She had a purple and white tanktop on, connected to black pants. It also had on a gold and purple necklace, with black and white boots.

The last thing to gain color, was her green eyes. Awestruck, the group stared at her, as she levitated to the ground. Her eyes opened wide, as she looked around. "No. Freakin. Way..." Sally then put her hands over her mouth. "I can't believe it... It's you..."
