Not So Hidden

"Computer, on." Silver talked loudly to the monitor. He was on the same control room, where Blaze found him weeks before. The screen turned itself on, with the holographic keyboard turning itself on. The front screen read: "Welcome to Defenders HQ. INSERT PIN TO ENTER".

Silver typed in a 4 number pin code, as the monitor brought up its desktop. He opened a special Google tab that was highlighted in gold. This was the unrestricted Google software that Silver created. It could do anything Silver Dreamt up.

"Alright Sonic... Let's see where you're hiding.." He spoke to himself, as he stood up from his chair. "Search last signals with encrypted codes from the last 24 hours." Silver once again spoke to it. "Scanning.." The screen answered back to him.

Silver waited patiently, as the progress bar slowly got greener. "Silver!" He then heard a female voice coming from the hallway. He plopped back in his chair, and rolled his eyes. "What." He answered back loudly in annoyance. He heard loud footsteps about to make their way into the control room.

He then saw Shade the Echidna walk in. "What do you want I'm busy." He answered coldly, as he turned back to the computer screen. "Rouge has something to show you." She answered as she put her hand on her hip. "Whatever it is, it can wait." He still didn't look back at her.

"You know Rouge... She'll get impatient." She shrugged her shoulders, then walked out of the bright room. Silver sighed loudly, knowing she was right. He let the progress bar do its thing, as he walked out and followed Shade.

They both went down two hallways, then into the meeting room. They then saw Rouge, Knuckles and Vector stand there with grins. "Rouge is this some kind of a joke?" Silver said, now very annoyed. Then, he looked down at the table. They were matching, red, black and yellow uniforms.

"What the hell are these?" Silver asked as he walked up to them. He saw thick armor pieces on the suits as well. "The government thought we'd need new uniforms to be recognized by the public again. Go ahead, try it on." Knuckles said, with his snug suit already on.

Silver looked at the group, with pure disgust. "Are you serious? I just flew 1500 miles to find Sonic and the rest, and you interrupt me by showing me these.." He said angrily. "Come on grumpy ass. Just try it on and we'll leave you to your business. I promise." Rouge replied with a grin.

"Jesus.." He grabbed the bridge of his nose, and sighed to himself. "Oh my god if you'll leave me alone for the rest of the evening. Leaving Blaze alone at our new place is stressing me enough..." Silver sighed deeply.

He grabbed the suit and held it up to him. He grabbed the black pants, and slipped them on. He put the heavily armed belt on, then picked up the torso piece. "Press the button on the back neck piece." Vector instructed. Silver hit the button on the back of the suit.

Then, the entire back opened itself up, like an Iron Man suit. "Woah." Even he said with shock. He put the piece against his chest, and felt it close against his back, automatically adjusting itself. She chest, shoulder and body armor plates then rearranged to fit him.

"This feels... Great." He said with a smirk, as he gripped his palm in the armored glove. Even his spirit was back up again. "And that's not all." Shade smirked. She then handed Silver a brand new set of gauntlets. He slid them on, and watched a few thing light up.

"Damn... Way more advanced than our old Defenders suits. This feels fantastic!" Silver said loudly. "See, now aren't you glad you came out of your little rats's den?" Rouge joked. "Ha. Ha. This is great, but I need to go back anyways." Silver said, then walked out of the room.

As he went back into the control room, he saw the green progress bar at a full 100%. The screen then showed a more advanced version of Google Mobius, with a map on it as well as just a globe. It had 4 red dots on 3 different countries. He saw the cities/towns that last used a tracker jammer.

City 1: Central City
City 2: Metropolis Zone
City 3: Soleanna
City 4: Spagonia

He knew the third city had to be false, because that location was an old abandoned factory. And he knew that's where they had to have regrouped, then left the city. And it couldn't be Central City because that would be too easy. But something about Spagonia stuck out to him. It wasn't a city, it was more of a smaller country. It was nothing but forest and mountains.

Which got Silver thinking, that's the most clever way to be taken off the map. Hiding in a forest. "Hmm.. Computer, where was the last known Freedom Fighters HQ recorded in the history archives?" He asked. "Twin Peak Mountains, Spagonia." It answered loudly.

Silver's eyes popped open, as he quickly stood up and pressed his palms against the control panel. He read the name  Spagonia over and over again. A smile then crawled across his face. "Gotcha.." He said happily. He pulled a chip out of the computer slot, and stick it in a pocket on the new suit's belt.

He quickly ran back down the hallway. He went back into the meeting room, hoping to find everyone still there. But they were all gone. "Damn it." He cursed to himself. As he flew back to his control room with his PK, he turned on the microphone with his powers was well.

And he knew exactly what to say. "Gear up! Jet leaves in 10 minutes!" He said over the overhead com, that was set up all over the tower. He shut everything off in the control room, and locked it. He then walked down to the elevator, that took him up 3 more floors. He walked into a safe-like door. It even had a dial and a code pad on it.

As he entered the same code as the computer PIN, the red light then turned green. The safe door flew open, revealing a widespread room. The lights came on, revealing the large arsenal of weapons. "You aren't getting away this time... Old friend." He said, as he gazed at the massive choice of weaponry.
