"Well until we find Midnight, Wolf your in charge." Wolf took the moment to feel extremely proud. "That's right! I'm in charge! I think we can track Mid if we have something of her's-" Abigail piped up. "That or since we can all sense other powerful beings, we could just try to track her that way too. We should probably see if CJ can do that for us." CJ then looked over with an alarmed look. "Why me?!" He whined. "Because we said so." Said Wolf with a grin. "Fine." Huffed CJ pointing straight ahead. "Follow me-" "Wolf." A familiar dull voice came from behind, and his finger started poking at Wolf's shoulder. "Zero!" Wolf turned around thrilled at seeing her friend had joined them on their mission. There was a certain flicker in Zero's eyes. He gave a soft, calming stare. But nonetheless, cued his signature awkward silence. He looked at the others then back at Wolf. Ranger rolled her eyes, and marched over shoving them both aside. "Enough with the love fest you two and let's move." "It wasn't a love fest!" Shouted Wolf and Zero in sync. "That's exactly what two people having a love fest would say!" Before the two could say anything else Ranger rushed off. She was just as ready to get Midnight back like everyone else. This time she wouldn't let anyone down.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Now~
After the past few hours of nonstop walking the group, decided it would be best to find a place to set up camp. "It'll be Nightfall soon and I don't think we all have the energy, to try and defend ourselves from the mobs right now." Stated Ranger as she watched the sun start to disappear behind the trees. "This clearing will make a good place to set up camp." Abigail chimed in. Ranger gave a quick nod before speaking again. "Did we pack any food?" It was silent for a moment and everyone began to panic on the inside- "Oh wait! I think I packed some food just in case!" Said Abigail earning relieved sighs from everyone else. She then dug around in her bag before pulling out two loaves of bread, a few apples, and a few glass bottles filled with water. Within a short amount of time CJ had started a campfire. While Zero stood farther off and away from the camp, Wolf of course accompanied him. She retrieved their share of food, and brought it back to him. The two then stayed farther away until everyone decided to turn in for the night. As well as put out the campfire. Then they both slowly made their way back over, to decide as to who would keep watch for mobs. "You know what?" Said Ranger with a grin. "I say Zero and Wolf should be the ones to keep watch." Zero didn't say anything and blinked a couple of times. Wolf on the other hand..."What?! I see what your trying to do! Besides I'm in charge anyways-" Abigail cleared her throat before clarifying to Wolf. "Actually since Midnight has been my Best Friend since we were little, she said if something were to happen to her that I would be in charge. But I knew you all most likely will not trust me again, for a very long time. That I'm willing to understand, but even though I said Wolf was in charge I'm still in charge. So I'm on board with Ranger's idea. Sorry Wolf." Wolf folded her arms and huffed. As everyone went to turn in for the night, Ranger gave her a pat on the back. "May the love fest begin Wolfie don't you two get too carried away." Hinted Ranger before walking away grinning. "It's not a love fest!" Screamed Wolf who was beet red. "Wolf." Said Zero putting a hand on her shoulder, in an attempt to get her to relax. She then sighed and gripped the handle of her sword. "Zero just get your sword will you? We have to keep watch it seems." Wolf snapped then looked around while grumbling. Zero nodded trying to hide the shock of being snapped at by Wolf, he then drew his sword and looked around too. For awhile it was dead silent plus there seemed to be no mobs in sight. "So..." Said Wolf desperately trying, to make things less awkward then they needed to be. Zero turned to look at her and seemly waited for her to continue. "I'm sorry for that freak out earlier and for snapping at you too." Zero only nodded just like always and hinted that he accepted her apology. "Well there seems to be nothing in sight, so how about a quick walk?" Asked Wolf to a surprised Zero. With a shrug he took a step closer to Wolf while they began to walk, and took interest in the full moon that had reached its peak. Wolf was acting odd at first, she seemed- more excited then normal. Zero then took the time to clear his throat, before being overly dramatic when speaking like usual too. "What's the purpose of me being here?" He asked while Wolf sighed. "Zero please no more of the poetic or whatever it is you do when you talk." Zero shook his head at her and cut her off. "No really. What's the purpose of me being here besides being with you? That's all I'm here for. Don't you dare argue with that...Please-" He started before Wolf cut him off. "Oh stop talking already!" Wolf cried before kissing him. Zero was stunned no wait...He was shocked. And he slowly wrapped him arms around Wolf, before pulling away. "I love you. I love you so much Wolf." He whispered over and over, faster and faster with each time he said it. Wolf only smiled and stroked his cheek. "You know I normally try to hide most of my feelings, I don't want to be considered weak-" Zero sighed brushing pieces of her hair away. "Your not weak. Your the strongest person I know, and the most beautiful girl I know." "That's the sweetest thing you've ever said to me." Wolf cooed. For the next few minutes it was total love fest...Zero only nodded before his face displayed the same blank expression as usual. The two then held hands and began to make their way back to camp. It seems what Ranger had stated was right...The love fest had begun.
