Chapter Fifty-Three

(A/N): THANK YOU PEEKEL (FreakyGT ) FOR THE NAIL IDEA! By the way this may be a really gross chapter! Well to some of you I guess, I do not really know. Oh and I thought it would be funny if I did add a song for you guys, when you read about HiddenRanger202 the song fits so well for her character. And it is unbelievably fabulous and worth listening too. I expect that you people read this for Ranger, Peekel, and I. We all had some interesting ideas for this. Okay? Okay! Midnight screamed and cried once Nico left with her daughter. The wind howled around her as she screamed and cried, things flew across the room without anyone touching them. She had lost control, her palms sparked with electricity and she felt powerful- no...Unstoppable. She was going to destroy Nico for taking her child. She had managed to maintain her patience with him this whole time, but now she was fed up with him. He had crossed the line once he messed with her children and friends. "Ranger!" She screamed. Ranger appeared before her with Wolf, Zero, Ryu, CJ, Trouble, and the rest of the group (except Abigail cause you know why). None of them said a word. Not after they saw the tears streaming down Midnight's face, they could almost feel her sadness. It was pitiful. There were two things they knew that would prove Nico's actions to be Nico's biggest mistake. One, Midnight had became more powerful as she grew older. She could wipe the floor with Nico in an instant. Two, you should never mess with a mother or her children. Or in this case mess with a Brine mother...Who was very angry.

"And- we decided you, Abigail will be the one to kill her," continued Nico. Abigail's eyes grew wide as she was given a knife by Monica before she approached the infant, whose eyes then fluttered open. Willow smiled and cooed at Abigail, and Abigail's hands began to shake. She forced herself to raise the dagger...Before swinging it back down- and blood was shed...Nico screamed in pain as blood oozed down from the stab wound in his side. "You traitor," he growled at Abigail as she ripped the knife out of him and twirled it. "You think that I would work with a sick freak like you?" Abigail tilted her head back and cackled. This time she was really evil, she had become evil-because of Nico. She'd protect Midnight this time and do a little evil in the process. She would kill Nico and bring back Willow. She could gain back everyone's trust if she did so. She was desperate to be trusted again. Abigail pinned Nico to the ground and smashed his fingers, before sticking the blade in between the space under his nails and fingers. Before tearing each and everyone of his fingernails off with her blade. She enjoyed listening to his agonizing screams, and burned his body by lighting the tip of her index finger on fire. "The fun is only beginning," whispered Abigail into Nico's ear before laughing insanely.

"W-Willow has been taken," whispered Midnight sadly. When Ranger heard those words her heart felt like it was breaking ...She was absolutely shocked- then her sadness and shock quickly turned to anger. For a moment the group saw Ranger's eyes flicker red before returning to her usual purple glowing eyes. Midnight was the only one who was aware of the reason behind it, when she recruited Ranger she gathered information on her (of course Ranger didn't know that). She had to ensure that she could be trusted. "What was with her eyes?" Whispered Wolf to Zero as Ranger looked over alarmed. Ranger quickly tried to teleport before Midnight grabbed her arm and stared into her eyes. "Ender Rage," said Midnight while staring into Ranger's eyes with a smirk. "H-How do you know about that?" Stammered Ranger who was beginning to shake as Midnight looked over at everyone. "What you saw for a moment was Ranger's Ender Rage half," stated Midnight as the group begin to whisper among each other. Ranger had never felt so humiliated or terrified, they knew her secret now. "Her Ender Rage half is an absolute nutcase like Ryu which is why I like her," joked Midnight. "I have a little nickname for her even I call her Red," she said as everyone stared at her. Midnight suddenly stopped before turning her head slowly to look at Ranger. We could use her to help me get my daughter back. "What makes you think that she'll help you?" Retorted Ranger while Midnight grinned at her slightly scaring her. "I have an offer for her that she cannot refuse," replied Midnight continued grinning. "Oh no." Thought Ranger while she gulped, somewhat knowing that a certain someone was going to pay a visit. And with that Ranger's world suddenly plunged into darkness.

"Have you had enough yet?!" Screamed Abigail while sitting on top of sobbing Nico. Nico continuously tried to say yes, but his strength had drained and he could hardly speak. Monica only watched in horror unable to move for a moment, before praying that she was not going to be next. She quickly scooped Willow up and ran with her, she had never been so afraid before in her whole life. As she ran up a winding staircase into one of the towers of the crumbling castle she locked the door behind her. Willow then began to cry and Monica tried to silent the infant. She began to sing to the miniature Midnight (or Midnight 2.0 as she sometimes called Willow). The baby instantly fell silent and smiled before yawning and drifting off again just like earlier. Monica sighed relieved and held Willow close. "I won't let anything happen to you Willow, I promise." With that Monica sat on the floor and snuggled Willow. Before she felt her eyelids grow heavy and she too drifted off with Willow in her arms.
