The Brine was done reminiscing of her days with Zero, and was wandering about the castle now. Now, her blood was boiled, she wanted to start a whole war. Her planning consisted of pacing around with heavy footsteps. Her thoughts were interrupted by the presence of another nearby. Abigail stood from a distance watching Wolf. What should she say? She sighed and took a deep breath before walking over. "I have retrieved Zero and Aaron from Ivy. Their in the infirmary." She perked up instantly when there was a mention of Zero. She was stuck in an awkward positon with a shocked face, "Wha- Zero- Really?!" She grabbed her shoulders and shook her without thinking. Abigail seemed not to care much about being shaken violently by Wolf. "Yes he's in the infirmary." She restated with a sad look in her eyes. "Come on then!" She exclaimed, then grabbing her hand and practically dragged Abigail with her. Abigail yelped and prayed her arm wouldn't be ripped from the socket. "O-Oh okay." She only said barely above a whisper. As soon as they reached the infirmary, she almost busted the door off, (almost taking Abigail with it if not she had an iron grip on her hand). "Zero, Aaron!" She screamed like a dinosaur. "Ow." Abigail whispered a few times. As Aaron was sitting up in his bed smiling. "Wolf!" He giggled. "Aaron!!" She cried, then looked over at the black and blonde mess on another bed, "Has gloomy face woken up?" She said approaching where Zero was from Aaron's position. Aaron shook his head. "He hasn't moved since they put him there." He said stated as Abigail sighed sadly. She then proceeded to poke at his cheek and prod at his arm, "Heeeey~ Zero...?" His cold hand moved slightly, in which Wolf ecstatically picked up the pace in waking him, "Zero!! Get up get up!!" And she begun to shake him but with a bit of extra care. Abigail only stayed silent and hid in the shadows. She wanted to cry it just wasn't fair, why'd she fall for the ones she can't have? Why? Abigail felt like something was wrong, and picked Aaron up. Before backing away towards the doorway. His hand slightly twitched, the figure as he lifted himself up pushed Wolf back far, Wolf instantly in a state of shock once again, before worry filled her. Under the shadow of his hair, something radiated. "Heh." "Wolf get back that's not Zero anymore. It's the annoying son of a batch cookies, that I would love to destroy." She growled as there seemed to be fire her eyes. She was shaking and she seemed to be holding back tears as well. Wolf backed away closer to Blaze, with a look of slight disgust as 'Zero' continued with his dialect. His voice was twisted, it sounded like utter despair yet happy at the same time in a way that couldn't be explained. "Kahahahahahaha!!" He laughed in almost a scream, inhaling for air as he took in some more laughs, throwing his head back in absolute maniacal pleasure then as his head slowly averted to its original position, a crimson red was filling his once golden pupils with a bright yet grim glow. "I haven't gotten... kek... a chance to use this body in a while~ Hahaku~!!" He stood a few inches away from the bed, "I'll have to use it while I can..." He said with a wide grin which twitched, the lights of the room shifting darker and darker. He let out some more chuckles of amusement. Abigail had it in fact she snapped that is, before Aaron beat her to it and jumped down. He then ran right up to 'Zero'. "Excuse me mister but I believe you are trespassing on private property...My friend's body." He said softly and sheepishly, before looking up with puppy dog eyes. "Please leave him alone." He said once more with a full on lip quiver, and a single tear. "Oh, he makes 'friends' with people like you to? " He cackled, grabbing his hair roughly, an eerie smile, "Oh friends, what they can do for you, especially when their just BURNING with passion~!!" He screamed out the last part of the sentence in utter insanity, pulling dagger swiftly from his sleeve, going for a quick stab into the boy's head. "Ahahaha... HAHAHAHA!!" He laughed and hollered, staring deep at the two others. Aaron smirked. He held up a hand calmly and the dagger vanished. "Nice try sir. Are you done with your dramatic line yet? My mother can do better then you, all it seems is that you like the sound of your own voice." With that Aaron grinned. "Also news flash. All Zero's weapons are gone check if you don't believe me." With that the boy who was hardly even above three feet tall, grabbed 'Zero' with one hand and threw him back onto the bed. Never had he displayed his true power, the ones he inherited from his mother. "Hahahehe...." His laughter had gained back its luster for bloodshed. "This'll be great-" He interrupted his own speaking with a spatter of a muffled chuckle. He radiated a dark and grim air around him, the lights flickering, until it was almost pitch black. Aaron only stood in silence before flicking his hand once more as the lights came back on. "You know what's funny? I'm letting you think you have the upper hand. When in reality I could take your powers and cast you out of Zero, and keep you trapped in a place that lacks existence. And a place where you couldn't escape. And the best part is Zero would live without you and get his powers back. You know I may just do that." Abigail grinned. "Get him Aaron! Make your momma proud!" She laughed evilly. She really hated Dark Zero with a passion. "Oh nooo, whatever shall I do~?" He groaned in mockery then chuckled, standing back up again, a heavy twitch had accompanied him. "I don't just turn off the lights for you when you go to sleep no no...." He laughed, his voice growing more haunted, "You can't keep me away, and you never will, never never...." His chuckles became choked, sputters, and finally resonated with great volume, desperately taking great heaves of air. "Nevernevernevernevernever!" He screamed, he cried, he finally jerked his head up with a glow greater then before, a twitching big smile with blood supposedly running from his right eye. He kept screaming, almost in pain, his hands thrown up in the air, howling. Aaron didn't seem to care. "Yeah you really love the sound of your own voice. Kind of sad how pathetic you are. You remind me of this one guy who wears the color purple a lot in this anime my mom watched. Tokyo Ghoul I think it was called. Yeah are you gay too?" He asked with a smug look on his face. Abigail keeled over before dying with laughter. "BWHAHAHAHA! You just got told by a three and a half year old man! That's the funniest thing I've ever seen!" She wondered though really how annoyed, he had to be that no one was taking him seriously. Wolf burst out in laughter, joining the imaginary brigade of Aaron's insults. His eyes twitched fiercely, then formed a smile quickly before a straight face befell him, "Oh, and how do you expect to dump me aside, with pitiful excuses about a human's view of love, I find it amusing!" He yelled once again, choking almost, and sniggered once again, "How do you want me gone, off in a box?!" He screamed, before getting back his signature laugh. Aaron stopped then realized what he should do. The boy calmly walked over to Dark Zero, and he hugged him. He hugged him tight, his hugs were always the best. They could warm the coldest of hearts and heal the darkest of souls. "I'm sorry you have to be locked away always in the depths of Zero's mind. It's not fair to you is it?" Aaron was completely sincere for once someone was showing Dark Zero sympathy. He was puzzled, he was stuck in the same position he was in before he pushed Aaron off of him, though it seemed a bit to light of a push for the lunatic, "You think.... this'll.... stop me....?" He said with a chuckle and then a full out laugh, blood streamed from both of his eyes, his glow resonating almost a type of pain. Aaron tilted his head before gasping. "Your sad!" He cried out as he began to act his age again. Aaron rushed over to him and hugged him again. "Please don't be sad. I hate it when someone is sad or in pain! Please let me help you! You deserve better too!" Aaron then was clinging to him before speaking again. "You know what? Your my friend now too." "Get. Off. Of. Me." He hissed, pushing him off more roughly this time, "I don't need 'friends', I don't need what he clings onto." He backed away, his hands shaking fiercely, his smile dropped with only the furiousity filling his supposively soulless and only sadistic eyes. His eyes twitched erratically as well, his blood splattering on the floor. Aaron didn't give up so easily. He grabbed 'Zero's' hands and looked him in the eyes. "Please let us help your miserable I can see it in your eyes. I don't want you to be unhappy." Abigail paused before agreeing. "I'm on board with Aaron here you deserve much better. I feel bad for being so mean to you now. I'm sorry man really I am." She said sniffling while trying to fight back tears. "The truth is I'm so mean to you because I unfortunately have fallen in love with the Zero we all know." Abigail was practically emitting her guilt off at that rate. "We want to free you." She said softly. "No no stop!" He cried and screamed once again, pulling his hands away quickly, "Stop it...." He looked terrified, he didn't want this, the blood fell from his cheek more rapidly, his lip trembled, his whole body shaking. "Please calm down. Just take a deep breath dude." Said Abigail who pulled out a hankie and wiped away the blood. "Perhaps I can separate you two, and you can be human if that's okay with you. I have the power to do that, I just don't use it often. But it seems to be a special case so I'm willing to help." She then gently planted a kiss on his cheek. His eyes widened, he grabbed her, in an embrace not to far from a hug, and started screaming. Not in insanity, in utter pain. Utter despair. "I HAVE NOTHING TO COME BACK TO!" That was first first set of words and then the bloodcurdling screams came back, "NOTHING!" He started to pound his clenched fists on her chest. "HE MADE ME WANT TO DESTROY EVERYTHING I HAD! I HAD TO SHOW HIM! I HAD TO SHOW HIM!" He screamed in agony before sinking his head in and there there was more screaming, yet it was muffled by the fabric of her shirt. Blood started to stain it slowly. Abigail only played with his hair and practically held him close. It seemed she was rather caring more then anyone knew. "Just let it out sweetie. Just let it out." She said soothingly and rubbed his back. She hummed and then sat down on the floor with him, and cradled him like he was a baby. "It's okay I promise you that I will find a way to separate you from Zero and make you human. And if you want you can start over again." She stated with kindness in her voice. "Your a sweet boy really I know you don't want this. And I'm so sorry...We want to help you because we care for you too." Abigail then gently lifted his head up for him before kissing him. Then within those few seconds it was like a sense of realization hit her. What do you know? All this time the Zero she was really in love with...It was Dark Zero he was the one she loved. This whole time and she now realized it. She then gently pulled away slightly astonished by what she had done. "I think- I think your the one that I've really been in love with this whole time. It wasn't Zero I was falling for...It was you." She laughed a little before holding him close again. All the times she had those conversations with Zero that no one else knew of, maybe the reason he understood what she was saying so much. Was because it was Dark Zero, who was the one really listening to her. Now she knew so. "Hey Dark I don't think I'm in love with you...I know I am." She admitted and snuggled up with him. He had completely lost his voice, and could only whimper softly as he wrapped his arms around her, then refused to show his face from the escape of his face nuzzled in his own bloody mess. "I don't want to be like him.... I don't want this." He said in sorrow, yet he clinged onto her tightly. He was hazy, there was always a time limit, "I don't want to go back." He whimpered, "P-Please!" He let out a scream one last time as he grabbed fistfuls of her shirt tightly then was reduced to sniffling once again. He was literally forcing his eyes open to stay within his own consious, to the point he was frightened even if he blinked it would cause him to go away. "If you can stay strong for me and keep fighting just a little longer. I can get the spell you'll have your own separate body, and you'll be free I promise." She then kissed the top of his head gently and began to hum. Abigail quickly looked through her bag, before pulling out the spell book. She then carefully laid him down on the floor and held his hand. "Keep fighting for me alright?" She then began to chant and kept holding his hand. She finished the chant and a perfect copy of Zero's body was before them both. She then placed a two fingers on his forehead and focused. She finally lifted her two fingers, and placed them on the other empty shell's (body) forehead. Which would split Dark from Zero and make him human. Zero's body was left without consious once again, the empty shell seemingly empty no more. It's hands slightly moved, before his eyes were revealed when he had finally opened them up completely after a few blinks, it still was the same as before with black replacing where the whites of his eyes should've been, and a crimson red in both pupils. He slowly got up, moving his hand around in a bit in surprise and shock. "Well I'm actually proud of myself for pulling that off!" She laughed before walking over to Dark and hugging him. The boy had a wide grin before hugging her tightly back, "T-This is me!!" He cried out in happiness, and was a jittery mess for a while "....Thank you...." He said softly in her ear after he had settled down. "Don't mention it hon." She replied while playing with his hair. "Huh. Though it does seem that some looks stayed-" Aaron cut her off. "He's got ghoul eyes!" He squealed finding it absolutely amusing. "That just makes him ten times cooler." Said Abigail before ruffling his hair. He laughed, "I um.... didn't always have these, they were brown before...." He said with a soft smile. "Well they sounded beautiful. Kind of funny actually because mine use to be like that too." She smirked. "They haven't been brown since I was five..." She continued almost starting to space out. She then snapped back into focus and laid her head on his chest. "I guess were on the same boat here?" He said, "Um.... I don't now how long exactly I've been with Zero.... A long time probably?" He smiled sheepishly, "When I was human I had a kind of redish brown hair color? I think thats how I would say it.... um what else?" Abigail giggled and sat down on the floor beside him listening to him intently. Aaron walked over. "I'm watching you for now psycho." Aaron said while making the 'I'm watching' you gesture with his hand. He was only kidding though. He raised an eyebrow with a smirk, "Psycho, what gave you an idea that was my name?" Aaron only blinked. "Cause your nutty." He said with a straight face. Abigail couldn't help but start giggling. "Go on pipsqueak." Aaron huffed before walking over to Wolf. His behaviour mostly hinted his former personality, yet it revealed his personality before playing the dark side of Zero. "So.... when is he going to wake up?" He said with a slowly darkening expression. "Zero probably may be awake within a few minutes." She said. "I um, in the meantime I should tell you my name, right?" He said brightening up a bit, "My name is Ryu." "Well it's a pleasure to meet you Ryu." She said with sincerity. She then wrapped her arms around his neck while purring. He looked down, then started to twirl and mess around with her hair, "What are you, a cat?" He said in a joking fashion. "Possibly." She retorted. "Alright alright." He said with a genuine smile as he continued to play with her hair. Abigail giggled and cuddled up. "Hey Ryu just so you know Zero isn't bad. I don't think he wanted you to suffer, he's not like that. I swear on my life that I know he wouldn't want you suffering I'm sure he feels bad." She seemed one hundred percent positive about that. He hissed almost like a feral cat, his expression darkening once again. "But he-" He felt a cold touch on his shoulder, and he instantly backed away as it sent a shockwave into him. There was Zero with his usual straight face, wiping and peeling dried blood off his face. Abigail screamed a little bit horrified as to how wrong she was. "Was he only nice because he was feeding off your nice personality?!" She screamed making guesses at that point. Before getting in front of Ryu and Zero. "Leave Ryu alone!" She cried out. "W-What...?" He questioned in utter confusion, looking at Ryu with a tilt of the head. He had practically only woke up, and now he was practically looking at his exact clone (except the eyes). "Ryu would you explain to Zero please?" She said trying to be calm. He had a cold, solid death glare at Zero, however Zero was in a neutral-confused state. Ryu stepped forward towards Zero from behind Blaze, and started to speak with a biting tone, his eyes complementing it all, "So here I am, that 'dark side' you call me. All because you became someones pawn." He let a slight hiss, and Ryu roughly grabbed the opening of his jacket, "Is it nice, getting that annoying voice out of that thick head of yours?" "Uh Ryu. Calm down just tell him what he doesn't know." He realized his sudden action, and pulled away his arm quickly, still keeping a death glare, "Right.... this girl stabbed you from behind, and you became a puppet. And.... thats one of the reasons I'm here." He said in a more dull voice. "I couldn't take control then, and I took control when you woke up..." His hand started to twitch slightly. "Abigail.... right? Gave me a seperate body...." He said unblinking. Zero took it into understanding, and pieced it together slowly. Abigail nodded. "Yeah you got my name right." She then looked at Zero sadly. "If I'm not mistaken Zero your the demon that possessed Ryu. You took his body from him and drove him insane. He's not your dark side. You are the dark side." She explained with a straight face. "I haven't heard this before...." He said with a hand in one of his jacket pockets, "Though I remember him blaming me for something." He said looking over to Ryu, in which he looked away immeadiatly. "I um.... Abigail. Theres this thing he keeps doing, he keeps saying he can't remember alot of stuff before he met Wo...Wolf." He said thinking of the name for a second. "Then what are you getting at?" She said raising a eyebrow, while placing a hand on her hip. She began to feel like she should be concerned. Zero could tell the accusing glares he was getting, "I really don't know about this.... I didn't even know he was human...." He said, he was still confused, a lot of things were running through his mind although. Ryu let out a 'tch' and gave a more deadpanned stare at Zero. "It was no ones fault though as to what happened. I doubt it was intentional so you can't be mad at each other. Okay?" "....Alright." Ryu said reluctantly, but nevertheless it showed what deep connection he was going to have with her since he wasn't trying to nail Zero into a wall. Zero however was still piecing things together, and only nodded simply. "Great! Now. Wolf gets her Zero back and I have finally found someone who gets me." She said with excitement while hugging Ryu's arm happily. Ryu didn't anticipate the sudden hug of the arm, but let her have her way nevertheless, and smiled. Wolf and Zero stared, and she poked at Zero's arm, "So, thats going to be the look on your face when I make you smile again, without the eye thingy?" Zero only nodded, and Ryu only could give a stare. Abigail then smirked and kissed Ryu passionately. Wolf had the face of shock written on her face, and Zero blinked in astonishment. Ryu blushed madly, but kissed back softly in a response, he quite enjoyed it, but he had kept in mind that the two of them were there as well, and tried his best to ignore them. Abigail was overjoyed she had found someone who understood her. No more being alone. She wrapped her arms around his neck. He kissed her forehead in response, he could read what she was thinking. He was glad he wasn't going to be scraped away anymore, he liked having Abigail with him. Abigail was giggling away before Aaron ran over grinning. "Hey Abigail." He said as she turned her head, to the side to look at him. Aaron jumped up and grasped the pendant that was dangling from her neck. He then gave a quick tug and the pendant came off. In Abigail's mind those few seconds seemed to slow down, like the world had stopped turning altogether. Her eyes then grew wide. Ryu would be horrified by her if she, didn't get the pendant back on before it happened. "Abigail? Whats wrong?" He said getting worried instantly by her reaction. "Aaron give it back!" She wailed trying to catch the giggling boy, who had dove under the bed. She then froze and let out a cry that sounded like she was in excruciating pain. His eyes dialated, "Abigail please, whats wrong?!" He said in complete worry, going over to look where she was. "G-Get my pendant back please." She whispering as there was a flash of light. She was completely humiliated especially since, all she was now was but a head and a pile of Blaze rods. He was surprised by the sudden change, but did as she said and walked over to the bed and kicked its side roughly, "Aaron come on now, give it back." "No! Then the game ends!" Aaron retorted. Abigail buried her head deeper into her pile of rods. "Don't look at me." She whispered to Ryu. He rolled his eyes, "Come on now Aaron, give it back." He cared immensely though, since he knew how it would feel to be in Abigail's situation. "Nope!" He yelled as Abigail was fighting back tears. The mob managed to float up, and glanced over at a mirror. She then opened her mouth and screamed in horror upon seeing herself. "Aaron...." He said grimly, then decided to take some action. He literally grabbed one of the sides of the bed and flipped it over, and went to grab the pendant away from Aaron. Aaron screamed like a little girl before shocking Ryu over and over. "What happened to being human?! That's crazy strength!" He shouted while keeping the pendant out of Ryu's reach. "You little..." He started, but cursed under his breath. Recovering from the shock, he continued like a wild animal, he was fast and was relentless, in order only to grab the pendant. Aaron smirked before flicking the hand that held the pendant. And just like that the pendant vanished into thin air. "No!" Wailed Abigail. And at that point, Ryu had snapped. His eyes glowed a fierce red, "Give. It. Back." At this point, beds were being broken and many furniture could never live the same way ever again as he picked them up like a feather. "Ryu! Calm down he's just a kid, kids are mischievous they like to have fun. Even if it requires causing trouble. Besides I could just tell his Mother." Aaron froze before screaming. "Anything but that!" He froze, then set down the table he was going to use as a projectile. "....You can go ahead and do that." "I will- After Willow is born." Aaron didn't hesitate to make the pendant reappear. He snatched the pendant back in satisfaction, and put it back on Abigail. Abigail immediately changed back and she then laid her head on his shoulder. "Thank you." She whispered.
