~One Year Ago~

The eight year old girl Emily, stood in silence as Abigail stood by watching. "How much for the girl?" Abigail asked drumming her long black fingernails. "As many coins as you have my lady." Bowed a old village woman. "You strike a hard bargain, very well old woman." Sighed Abigail tossing a bag of coins at the old village woman's feet. Emily grasped the old village woman's leg. "Please no Mama don't make me go with her!" Begged Emily her face full of fear and sadness. The old village woman growled at threw her off. "You are no use to me go you ungrateful girl!" She screeched. Abigail grabbed Emily by her arm and teleported back to her castle with Emily. The poor frightened girl stood in silence as tears dropped down her face. "Oh stop your crying girl!" Snapped Abigail. "What tis your name?" Emily shaking more timidly replied. "E-Emily...Emily Maribel Rosales." She stated straightening up. Abigail nodded causally, "I have to admit you have a rather pretty name." Emily beamed. Abigail truthfully couldn't hide a smirk it was nice, having a high spirit such as Emily's around. "May I ask you something?" Emily asserted cocking her head to the side. Abigail looked over, "What do you wish to ask me?" Emily swallowed hard then answered. "Why are you evil?" Abigail sucked in a breath and stiffened before smiling a little. "Well...I didn't really think of myself evil till now. Not many people know the truth but you will know." Emily sat on the floor eager to hear the story that was to be told. Abigail laughed before beginning. "Once upon a time, long before you may have ever been born. There were two girls one with eyes white as snow and the other with a flame mark that glowed and these two girls well, they were up against Notch himself and the squids. So they created a camp a safe haven you could say for hybrids. That would keep them all safe from humans and Notch too. Soon after the battle both sides had been waiting for came. After their fierce fighting the hybrids won. And Notch and the squids left well enough alone. Well over the years the camp grew larger and one boy came, his name was CJ. Well one of the two girls she- well she fell in love with him-" Suddenly Emily chimed in. "Oo! Did they fall in love and live happily ever after?!" She cried excitedly. Abigail shook her head. "No I'm afraid that's not what happened. "Well the young girl she never had the guts to talk to CJ, she spent her days cleaning and working so hard she was to tired to even stand some days. After all the things that happened like her friend who had been controlled, attacked, and nearly died from a queen someone came along. She worked for the queen, her name was Toxic and the day she joined it was easy to tell that CJ and her connected. By then for the girl it was to late she lost her chance to tell him how she felt about him. She already didn't have a heart she lost it when she gained her powers as a little girl. Something changed inside her she felt like the heart she didn't have shattered. And she hated all the hybrids they were all as fake as the goodness Toxic claimed to have within her. So she did some things, some she does regret. And she didn't want to be the villain to people she now has to act like she's still evil but deep down she's sad and she's lonely. She never received a happy ending, and she realized love and goodness is not real." Emily sat awed, "That's a tragic story." Abigail nodded sadly. "It tis." She agreed taking off her gloves. Emily saw a flame mark on Abigail's hand as she peeled off the gloves. "You were that girl weren't you?" Emily asked quietly. Abigail forced herself to nod. "Yes, yes I was. But I'm that girl anymore she was weak. And she let others walk all over her. She stays locked up for good." Emily stood up and walked over to Abigail and placed a hand on her chest. "You see I have no heart beat." Whimpered Abigail. Emily shook her head. "That's not why I am doing this." Abigail was very confused then asked. "Then what are you doing?" Emily smiled. "Your the first friend I've ever had we are friends so we share a bond. I share my heart with you." Abigail surprised didn't know what to say. She simply just smiled.
