Gerard's eyes rolled back as a heavy object of some sort smashed into the back of his skull. As he hit the ground everything seemed to swirl and spin around him, he was seeing double at this point. As inky blackness crept into the corner of his eyes he saw a woman smirking above him, well two (from seeing double still) and she had dirty blonde hair and dark brown eyes.

~Now~

Justin and Josh gaped in complete shock before reacting to the situation that lay before them; the two then drew their swords growling at the cackling woman. "Who are you?" Demanded Josh as his eyes began to glow increasingly bright by the second; the woman merely smirked at the young hybrid while Justin had to shield his eyes away. If not he was pretty sure his brother would blind him with those flashlights, that he swore were his eyes hah! Justin would beg to differ any day it drove him nuts that his twin, didn't own a single pair of sunglasses. "Man will you dim it down a little Josh?" He whined while his twin ignored his complaining, not even daring to take his eyes off the woman; who now had slung their limp older brother over her shoulder. The woman (Ivy) for her own amusement pulled out a pair of sunglasses and slipped them on with a grin. "Now that's better you won't blind me now. If I were you listen to your brother and dim it down, if you think blinding me will stop me then your dead wrong." "Shut up." Retorted Josh gritting his teeth trying to not let her comment hurt him, he couldn't let her weaken him he wouldn't allow such a thing. "Who are you?" He demanded once more gripping the hilt of his sword. The woman tilted her head back laughing for way longer then necessary; Josh still pointing his sword at her tapped his foot waiting for her to stop. Suddenly she vanished leaving the twins in confusion and huddling up together. "You can call me Ivy." Whispered Ivy into the twins ears, and had reappeared from behind them. Before either one of them could spin around to react she did a quick pressure point on them both; and just like that they fell motionless to the ground together. Ivy who was quite proud for taking out her second Brine hybrid gathered all three boys, and teleported back to the cave where she could round up the rest of Midnight's family. "My sons!" Cried Marina as they were dropped onto the cold hard ground in front of the family. "Ah! Ah! Get back." Warned Ivy as the distressed Mother had no choice but to get back. Marina could only watch as Ivy grabbed Josh by the back of his hoodie; and dragged him over to the farthest corner away from everyone else. She then spawned a set of chains and secured them around the poor boy's ankles and wrists. "You require special treatment my pet." Whispered Ivy inches away from a unconscious Josh's face while purring she then, gently stroked his cheek before planting a gentle kiss on his lips. Pulling away she licked her lips turning her head to look at a furious Marina, it pleased her to see the fury in the woman's eyes she then looked back at Josh. Without a care she struck him with a great amount of force, as the bruise began to become visible on the boy's face it resembled the handprint of the hand Ivy struck him with. Marina was helpless and wept she couldn't do a thing..."Where are you going?" She asked as Ivy prepared to head out again. "Oh I'm just going after your grandson again." She replied casually hiding a smirk from a stunned Marina. "I h-have a Grandbaby?" She stammered with tears of joy in her eyes, Ivy only nodded while reading a spell from a spellbook repeatedly. After she was sure she memorized it she slammed the book shut and replied. "Yes you have a Grand- oh whatever you just called him...But not for long though." With that she then vanished as the pleading cries of a Grandmother echoed throughout the cave.

As Aaron's eyes fluttered open questions instantly raced through his little mind. Where was he? What happened? Where was his Mother? His questions were cut short as his eyes set sight on Ivy who was standing at the foot of the bed, and was wearing a nurse's outfit. Aaron frantically looked around for his Mother forgetting about Ivy, he tried getting up to only realize there were IV's attached to his little arms. "Calm down love. Let me get you comfortable before I get your family and friends." Cooed Ivy quickly gaining his trust. She propped the pillows for him and pulled the blankets back up while playing with his hair. "Better?" She asked him with a gentle tone as he nodded in return. "Your people will be so excited to know that you finally have woken up." She continued walking away and then closed the door. e door but why? Ivy then strolled back over to his bedside and within seconds used magic to freeze him. She gazed into his eyes and saw the fear he had for her. It tickled her to know how effective she was; putting Aaron into the position he was in before he woke up, she peered down at him and began to wave her arms above him while chanting. As she did the lights flickered and a breeze swirled around the two, Ivy began to chant louder and louder with a crazed look before pausing with her arms high in the air, everything then was still. She grinned exceedingly pleased more then ever! She leaned down smoothing back some of Aaron's hair before kissing his forehead, within moments a mark of sorts bubbled to the surface of the boy's flesh. It was a black symbol mirroring what appeared to be a skull before dissipating. "Let's see how your Mommy handles her son's inner darkness." Was all she said. Just before she disappeared the door then unlocked by itself and opened. White silence lingered in the air as Aaron's eyes snapped open...And they were solid black...Black as night.
