Wolf sat in silence for what felt like an eternity, Ivy who was standing in the corner laughed. Wolf stood up and turned to her, seeing the sword was gone and in her hand. "You did this?" She growled as Ivy laughed harder. Wolf was done. In fact she had, had it she snapped. "You son of a batch of cookies!" She shrieked (trying not to swear) before swinging her own sword at Ivy...It was game on...

The one thing Ivy didn't expect was for the furious Brine to charge at her. Within a split second she was pretty sure she was tossed around in the cave multiple times. She was the ball and Wolf's sword was the bat it seems, she then was grateful she already had done the spell. Ivy flipped around in the air a few times for show, before landing in a crouch. Wolf only growled at her before you vanishing in a puff of smoke. Ivy frantically looked around for Wolf, she had no idea as to where she went. "ARGH!" Screamed Wolf who had reappeared behind Ivy, and then swung her sword. Ivy fell to the ground well she practically face planted rather then fell. Never once did Ivy think that Wolf was this powerful, in fact she never would have suspected her to be powerful at all. Ivy quickly scrambled back into the corner and then stood up. "Any last words?" Wolf hissed pointing the tip of her sword at Ivy's neck. Ivy smirked and nodded. "Why yes. Zero darling would you mind putting a stop to this little girl's tantrum?" Wolf's face twisted into a look of confusion, before a hand wrapped itself around her neck and pinned her up against the wall. Wolf was staring into the black soulless eyes of Zero, she looked down to see his wound was gone and then she figured it out. "That blade she stabbed him with! She had to of dipped it into some potion of sorts, so she could use him!" Wolf choked a few times as her oxygen was running thin. Yet she still managed to choke out the words; she wanted to say more then anything. "Z-Zero." Choke. "I." Choke. "Love." Choke. "You." Choke. "Too." For a split second Zero's grip loosened and his eyes flickered back to normal. "Release her my puppet." Zero's eyes flickered back to black, and he let go as Wolf dropped to the ground gasping for air. After collecting herself Wolf looked up at Ivy. "Call Zero your puppet again and see if you won't be spitting out your teeth." She snarled. Abigail took a step forward and helped Wolf up, she knew what she had to do. If this didn't snap Zero out of it then it really was serious. She slowly raised a fist then opened it. Flames swirled and seemingly came to life in her palm, she looked at Zero waiting for a reaction. It never came. Nobody said a word for everyone now knew how serious it really was. Ivy began to cackle like crazy while everyone stayed silent. "Don't you see you can't get your precious Zero back." She then turned to Mid grinning. "Oh I forgot to tell you! I paid a visit to your son when he first woke up in the medical wing, I was the first one there actually. Care to meet my other puppet who's been feeding me everything that goes on in your kingdom? Oh Aaron!" Cried out Ivy in a sing song voice. Aaron stepped out from the shadows wearing a black cloak, that happened to be his mother's from when she was a little girl. He pulled the hood down slowly and a white glow emitted from his eyes. "Aaron. My sweet baby boy no!" Wailed Midnight who began to weep and fell to her knees. Never had she felt so helpless. She then noticed a blue spiraling pattern covering half of her son's face, her blood was boiling. "Did you paint that on my son's face for war paint? That's real cute." Ivy shook her head. "Oh no that's not paint." Mid raised a eyebrow. "So that's a tattoo? You better hope you didn't put something like that permanently on my baby boy's face." She then realized she sounded just like a mother. She had gone soft it seemed. Abigail's eyes began to glow red and she hurled a fireball at Ivy. "Curse you!" She shrieked. Ivy flicked her hand causing the fireball to vanish. Aaron slowly walked over emotionless and stared down at Midnight. "You never loved me." He said blandly. "No baby I've always loved you-" Aaron cut her off. "No you didn't. You chose your army, that man, and that new baby over me. Your a monster. No one wants a Brine for a mother anyways, and you've got to be the worst mother ever." He said in a monotone voice. Aaron's words echoed through Midnight's head, those were the words she had always feared her son would say to her. She felt her heart shatter into a thousand pieces, and stared into space with wide eyes. Ivy then walked over putting a hand on Zero and Aaron's shoulders before vanishing. Wolf walked out of the cave biting back a scream. She wanted to cry, she wanted to yell. She couldn't survive without Zero and she knew it. She loved him more then anything in the world. Everyone calmly lead the heartbroken two out of the cave. Midnight immediately was embraced by Marina. While Justin, Gerard, Gracen, Anne, Dusk, and her Father were busily trying to tend to Josh. Midnight for the moment felt better, and hugged her Mother back and wept on her shoulder just then Silver cleared her throat. "Marina perhaps you should tell your daughter what you told me about her." Midnight then looked over at Silver, and then at her Mother. "Tell me what?" She asked. Marina sighed before speaking. "The family dear we all knew something about you; from the time you were born, when you were young you didn't display the powers of dark magic you displayed something far more powerful. I have a diary hidden somewhere in the castle that had; every strange event caused by you in it. We became certain that you were different after you and your brothers got into a fight. The reason we knew for sure that you were very different from the rest of us; was because while you fought I could have sworn your eyes were glowing white for a moment. After my death and when your sister went 'eccentrically evil' she used that secret we all knew of to get rid of you. All the hybrids carry your DNA. Not Herobrine's. The squids just brought out that other side of yours with a type of substance. The only reason you didn't know this was because anytime you displayed those kind of signs, we would wipe your memory of the event. You've been a natural born Brine this whole time. There's a possibility that our family ties into Herobrine's actually." Midnight didn't say anything at first she couldn't handle it; normally she could handle anything, but not this time. Midnight let out a small cry and covered her eyes, now she knew the truth and the truth had never hurt so bad. Marina went to attempt to try and comfort her devastated daughter, only to be pushed away. "No! Don't touch me!" She screamed. As Marina understandingly backed away. The entire group was horrified, their leader was supposed to be the girl with a tragic story. The girl who had once had been living the dream life, and then lost it all. The girl who has escaped the squids and had freed her fellow hybrids. The girl who started an army and defeated the squids, and won the war against them. The girl who had even won against Notch himself. The girl who was just like them, who understood their pain. For once though no one could ever understand the pain she was going through. "I was right and so was Aaron. I am a monster." She whispered then ran behind a tree, she didn't want anyone to see her. Like that anyways, and not because she was crying. Because she was ashamed more then ever in her life, she's nothing like all those hybrids that look up to her. She was fake and all those things she did, she only did them for vengeance. Midnight raised her hands to her eyes and looked at the ground, the bright light followed wherever she looked. Just like always. "Make them stop." She whimpered before burying her head into her hands. Then something snapped within her, this time she was determined to earn her son's affection again. He was right no one could love a Brine for a mother, so a Brine she would no longer be. This time she wouldn't let herself get in the way of that. She never wanted it to begin with so why should she, have to go about and pretend to be happy about it? Midnight stood up and walked back over to the group. "Come on Mid you've had a rough day you need to rest-" Started CJ before Midnight stopped him. "No. I'm done with all of this, Aaron will never love me as long as I'm the way I am. You all heard what he said, besides I think Ivy wants me out of the game anyways, so I'll do that for her. I have decided I will no longer be a Brine, and if any of you dare try to stop me then you are preventing me from getting my son back. And it will be you who is responsible for my misery." With that she vanished in a puff of smoke. "Well that just totally went south fast." Said Ranger earning glares from everyone. "We need to get Josh back to Nightwick all of you. Ivy has really done a beating on him since she got ahold of him." Said Marina crouching over her son's limp, battered, and bruised body. While meanwhile in Nightwick Midnight paced in the baby's nursery planning, planning ways to become human.
