PHOENIX'S POV

Ever since I had gotten revenge on Jane for nearly killing my beloved, I discovered that I actually liked the feeling of murder. So this night, I had ventured out with Jeff towards the place that had been my hell on earth for 2 years. A weird mix of anger and joy pounded through me, it was almost like an adrenaline rush. Jeff walked beside me, but at a safe distance, given that I was carrying matches and gasoline.
I knew that the group home locked every door and window at night, as a precaution. But Clocky had taught me how to pick locks, and after a few minutes the front door swung open.
Before I went in, Jeff turned to me. "I really want to go in, but I want to see how you handle this yourself. I'll be waiting under that tree, okay? Please be careful." He then pulled me closer to him. "I love you, Phoenix."
"I love you too, Jeff. Don't worry. I'll be out in five minutes."
With that I went inside, closing the door behind me. The first thing I did was put on rubber gloves and go to the staff office, yank the keys off the hook, and put them in my pocket. Then I proceeded to pour gasoline throughout the whole home, including all the bedrooms.
After a while, the last room left was my old room. I unlocked and opened the window so I would have an exit, then poured the remainder of the gasoline all over the floor. As I perched on the window, preparing to jump out, a voice spoke. It was Reagan, and she sounded drunk. "Who's there?"
"Hello, Reagan," I responded, my voice a low growl. My glowing eyes flashed angrily.
"Phoenix. Of course. I should have known it was you...why are showing your ugly deformed face around here again? Did your freak boyfriend throw your blaspheming ass to the curve? Can't say I blame him." I heard Jeff angrily hiss from below.
"Phoenix isn't here anymore," I said, in a voice quite unlike my own. It was like someone else was speaking. "She is far away, somewhere safe. I am merely here avenging her." I had gone completely insane.
Reagan spoke again, and this time her voice was fearfully trembling. "Well if you're not Phoenix, who are you?" She couldn't move her gaze away from my eyes, my face. I grinned evilly, wildly, and started laughing, the same insane laughter as when I killed Jane. I lit a match before speaking again.
"I am the Firestarter. Sweet dreams... bitch."
With that I threw the match into the puddle of gasoline, which ignited immediately and began to spread through the building. Still grinning, I climbed down the tree after closing the window, and me and Jeff raced to the front door, which I locked.
We were laughing as we ran through the woods, laughing at the cackling of the flames and the terrified, drunken screams. When we were a safe distance away where we could still see the fire through the trees, Jeff pulled me to him and we held each other. "Firestarter, my firestarter," he murmured.
We walked a little farther through the woods before he stopped again, looking at me with a look of triumph in his eyes. "You're one of us now...how does it feel?"
I smirked before leaning towards him. "Better than I could ever imagine," I whispered against his lips.
He moaned softly in response. "Cara Mia," he said.
"Mon Cher," I responded, before our lips met.
We kissed passionately as the inferno raged on.
