PHOENIX'S POV

Life here is as different from life in that hellhole as humanly possible. Instead of being judged, they don't care what I believe in, what I wear, what I do. Instead of being bullied, the Pastas are genuinely nice and actually care about how I feel and what I say. Instead of being shut up in my room all the time and keeping to myself, for the first time in a long time people want me to talk to them and be their friend.

Slender is seriously the father figure, and I consider him  my "second father." He's always there when I need a hand, or want somebody to talk to. Sometimes he gets so annoyed with the others it's hilarious, because when he yells he likes to flail his arms and tentacles around to emphasize that he's pissed. And when he's pissed, it's SCARY. Nearly everyone runs for cover when he starts yelling.

Having never been to Slender Woods before (or aware of their existence, for that matter), I'm extremely curious, so Slender or one of the other pastas will sometimes take me for nature walks. Of course it's only natural that Slender knows the name of every plant, tree, weed, and stump of wood in these forests.

Laughing Jack, ironically, is by far the ONLY CLOWN that I am not terrified of. I mean sure, when I first saw him I was scared because I have an extreme phobia of clowns, but once he starts talking he's actually quite funny. I can tell he's still reeling from Isaac forgetting him though; sometimes he's quiet and stares off into space with a heartbreaking expression, and at times, when I pass by his room, I can hear him crying. I also found out he has a severe fear of abandonment and separation anxiety, and he's also claustrophobic. When he gets sad, though, me and the other Pastas will all rally around him and try to cheer him up.

BEN...oh god, where do I start. He's...I guess the proper word to describe him is derp. He's always high on something or another; it's mostly pot, though he does experiment. He always sounds tired, and slurrs his words, and he's always asking me if I'll smoke with him, despite my constant insisting that I don't smoke. He also flirts with me nonstop. His favorite words for me are "hot stuff" and "babe." I don't know if he actually finds me attractive or if it's just because he's high all the time. (I, personally, do not find myself attractive, despite many people's statements to the contrary.)

Sally is like the little sister I never had. I love that girl like she's my own flesh and blood and would protect her with my life. Because of what happened to her, she has nightmares and sometimes comes to sleep with me. Her and I have tea parties, we paint each others nails, we annoy Smile by giving him makeovers.

Eyeless is quiet and keeps to his room alot. He does have a cheerful personality, but he rarely shows it and is a very private person. I realized he has a secret stash of kidneys hidden well in the massive fridge so that he can snack on them to his heart's content.

Clocky and I have grown really close; she's the first best friend I've had in a long time. I would even go so far as to consider her my sister. I found out she's engaged, and that she's getting married in a few months (yay!). She and Ticci Toby are very protective of each other, and you rarely see one without the other. But I find it adorable.

Masky and Hoodie are really shy, but friendly. I nearly squealed when I found out they were together; they're my favorite pairing besides Toby and Clocky.

Toby...I don't really interact with Toby much. I mean I like him and we talk, but we're not really close. Plus I found out he's got a bit of an assholeish personality. He treats Clocky well, though.

Smile is the family pet, basically. His favorite game is fetch, which me and Jeff love playing with him. He's a killing machine when he's on the hunt, but when he's with us he's just like any other dog.

Jeff and I...-blushes- well, we're not dating (will never happen. Duh, I know better) but we're closer than ever. He's very protective of me and insists at being at my side at all times. He even sometimes gives Ben a death glare when he catches Ben flirting with me. We take turns feeding and caring for Smile, and sometimes we run around the house carrying on like children (psssst...he's ticklish). I found out that when he's really angry or passionate about something, he has a slight Texas accent. Sometimes I'll find flowers in my room, from Jeff. When I bring it up around him though, he'll get bashful.

I do my share around the mansion. I vaccuum, clean the kitchen, clean my room, and even help with the cooking. Did I mention Slender's an excellent cook? Seriously. I always look forward to mealtimes. I also exercise by borrowing Jeff's bike and cycling around near the mansion. (Slender's kinda picky about keeping our whereabouts secret, so I always ask Slender first if I want to venture out of the woods. He doesn't really give curfews, but he always insists that if you're going out or killing, you KEEP WELL HIDDEN AND BE BACK BEFORE DAWN. And that rule is strictly enforced here.

Did I mention Jeff has been acting extremely wierd? When I walk in a room that he's in, he gets extremely flustered. He also stutters when he talks to me, and he says this a lot: "Phoenix, I..." but he's always too embarrassed to finish. What the hell is going on?

JEFF'S POV

I've never seen Phoenix so happy. Seriously it's like she's a whole new person. She's now bubbly and happy instead of withdrawn and irritated. She's Sally's big sister, Clocky's best friend, and Smile's new playmate. She also helps out around here with chores and respects the rules, which I can tell pleases Slender immensely. It's like she was...I don't know...meant to be here. I just wish I wasn't so nervous around her. I've been trying to tell her I love her, but I'm never able to finish. Plus I don't think she's catching on. What to do, what to do...
