Chapter 12-Going Home....Again

Vanessa's POV

Zak and I drove back home. Kevin was nowhere to be seen, I was a little worried.. I hoped he was okay.. I didnt mean to run off. I did but, I did wanna see him.....We pulled up to the place I once called home...
We stepped out of our cars Zak took my one of my bags. We were standing at the front door, Zak told me it was open. I went in.. Everything came back to me like a flood.. Just as I stepped inside the house I saw ....Dad running towards the front door and behind him.... Me..... I understood where we were going.. I was on the brink of breaking down but I didnt.

We went a little further... And made our way to the sitting room. I was in the doorway... Dad,Mom, Heather, Jen and the guys i presume to be the rest of Zak's crew were sitting there. Dad got up just as he saw me. He froze in his steps....
"Vanessa...."
"Hi Dad..", I waved sobbing a bit....
"Aw honey..", He hugged me. I cried..
"Oh Dad-- Im so sorry... I didnt mean anything I said.. I was stupid.. And- and"
"Shh shh Its okay... Its okay.. I know.. what matters is the you're back"...I pulled away He looked at me.. "All that matters is that my sweet,beautiful daughter is back...."
I smiled.. This was--- crazy.
After Dad I was greeted by mom. Her, Dad and I had a huge hug.

Then.... Heather and Jennifer...... My sisters....
"Hey Ness.."
"Hi Jen", Jennifer hugged me as we quietly cried...

Heather was the youngest.. I knew it would be hard to make her understand some things
I knew I had to say something,
"Hi Heather.... Im sorry"
She had her hands folded over her chest.... "Why did you leave?"
"I dont know...."
"Was it because of us?"
"No No.. why would it be because of you...". I stepped closer to her..
I put my hands on her shoulders and shook her a bit and playfully said, "Holla(probably slang for holler)! You guys are my sisters...."
She laughed before hugging me. Jennifer joined the hug..
We laughed and pulled away....
"Hey Mel!! Im back!... And Im sorry....". It felt like home .....

Next Zak introduced me to Nick Groff, Aaron Goodwin, Jay Wasley and Billy Tolley. The rest of GAC as everyone called it....

I put my bags in my old room and saw that it didnt change one bit. I was accompanied by Heather.. She was the youngest and I was kinda protective of her. She'd follow me everywhere. Like any baby sis would.
I saw the note on the wall..."Hey maybe we can make that collage now"
She smiled... "Yes!!"

Heather took me to Mel's room.. We both stood there in silence.. Looking around.... I kept waiting for her to show herself to me.... We were interrupted by Jen telling us that Dad wanted us downstairs.
