Chapter 13-This is Too much....

We walk downstairs and mom, dad, Zak and his crew are all standing in the kitchen automatically my eyes flicker over to Zak then I quickly turn away.
"Vanessa would you go to the store and get the stuff for the cake?" .

I remember that it is Mel's birthday I nod my head grab my bag and go to head out the door when I feel eyes on me, I look back at Zak and he is staring at me, I feel heat rush to my face and I hurry out of the house.

As I'm walking in the store I turn the corner and make my way down the aisle with the icings and cake mixes. I get halfway down the aisle scanning each shelf trying to find what I came for, out of the corner of my eye I see someone walking toward me I look up and it is Kevin.

He walks over and stands next to me," Hey Vanessa I haven't seen you around here in awhile." "Hi Kevin." I'm friendly but my eyes never leave the shelf of cake mixes in front of me.
"While you are in town why don't the two of us go out for dinner?" I look over at him and he gives me a friendly, charming smile.
"Kevin we broke up you left me remember?"
"Come on Vanessa don't hold that against me we could work things out and get back together." I turn around and walk out of the store forgetting the ingredients I was supposed to get.

When I get back home I walk in the house and slam the door, the first person to greet me is Zak "Vanessa what happened are you okay?" He runs his eyes over me checking for physical harm. "I ran into Kevin when I was at the store."
"Did he try anything?"
I snap at him "No he didn't I don't want Kevin and just because I tell you my feelings doesn't mean I want you either."

I storm upstairs and begin packing my bags, my dad walks in "Vanessa please don't leave again I just got you back and I don't want to lose you." I grab my suit cases and look at him
"I can't stay here with them dad its just too much for me but I will keep in touch this time I promise." I walk downstairs with my bags and when I get to the bottom of the star case I see Zak.

I walk past him and out the door and once again I am leaving home.

Zak's POV

I stand in the middle of the room, I look over at the rest of the guys" I um, I just need a minute." I walk outside and start pacing around in the yard. A few minutes later I'm joined by Nick "Zak why are you so upset about her leaving over this you just met this girl?" I know that he is right but I hate to admit it. When Vanessa was pouring her feelings out to me and I held her in my arms. I think I am beginning to have feelings for Vanessa
