After quickly getting out of the apartment I speed over to the convention center. When I get there and get out of the car the first thing I blurt out is I'm so sorry for being late. Gary stops me and then laughs and says "Don't worry I could tell you were tired earlier. He loads up his equipment and we go back to the apartment. We reach my apartment and are standing in front of my door. My heart accelerates, my breathing quickens, and I start fumbling with my keys. I feel a hand on my shoulder and almost jump out of my skin.

I look over at Gary who has a kind smile on his face, "Its okay you are not doing this alone I will be right there with you. He begins explaining his equipment, and my brain explodes all over the walls. Just kidding. But he does notice my dazed and confused stare.

When I finally know enough to show I'm capable of using the equipment Gary looks at me "its time." I take a deep breath and we walk in my apartment. For the first few hours nothing happens and I begin to doubt myself maybe I didn't see anything at all.

Gary turns on a piece of equipment he uses to capture voices and one of them gives an answer that makes my blood run cold. In the silence between the two of us "Get out" rings out in the room. My jaw drops and fear, shock and amazement runs through me. I take a seat trying to wrap my head around what I just heard. Gary gets up and grabs a camera then walks out of the room.

Gary's POV.

I walk towards the back of the apartment remembering that Vanessa said the shadow came her into her room. With the camera aimed out in front of me, I begin to think, the spirit voice we caught was great but it shook Vanessa up. If she only knew that there were people who had gone through worse than just seeing a shadow and being told to get out. I focus on my surroundings in the narrow hall way in front of me and there it is. Not only on my camera screen but also in front of me is the shadow, it turns and I see its eyes. I capture those red glowing eyes looking back at me... I was amazed. I hadn't seen anything so clear before. Not only did I see it myself but I got it on camera too.

I saw the figure fade away. A ringing noise broke the silence, I made my way over to Vanessa and saw her switching her alarm clock off. It was 6 am now... The investigation was over, we had an A Class Spirit Voice and caught an apparition on tape...

I took Vanessa to where I was staying. She was too startled to catch some sleep so I showed her what we had captured. There were tons of weird mists in the place too.

The editing and analyzing was over.. all that we needed to do was to put this on the internet. My assistant suggested that we send the video to a local news station too. Vanessa and I agreed.

A week later I was making breakfast. I had recently discovered that Vanessa hadnt eaten waffles before so I decided to make some for her. She came down stairs and immediately starting helping me.

We made breakfast and sat down on the table together. I felt compelled to say this to her, "Hey. Im proud of you"

"Thanks. I wouldnt have done that without you.. Dad" She smiled.
"You finished?"
"Yeah". She said.
I walked over to her and I kissed the top of her head. as if I would to one of my three daughters, Melissa, Jennifer and Heather. They would love Vanessa..

Vanessa had went off into the TV room now..
"DAD!!!! we're on TV!!!!"

Her response was priceless and she called me Dad by instinct I had to laugh. I walked into the TV room room and leaned against the door frame. The clip of the first orb we captured was playing. From that moment on. Our lives would never be the same.

This was it... We were famous..........
