Zak's POV
I stop my car at the edge of the driveway at the Galka house when I get out I notice that Kevin's car is sitting in the driveway as well. I start walking but stop when I hear voices I look up and from the light given off by the moon and the nearby streetlights I see Kevin and Vanessa sitting on the roof. I stop in my tracks to watch the scene in front of me I back up into the shadows where I can't be seen but I can see them,
I see Kevin lean toward her and kiss her and then she starts kissing him back I stand there in silence when she wraps her arms around his neck and runs her hand through his hair.
I start walking back to my car feeling stupid because I knew I had been right the whole time I had been right she would never go for a guy like me.
A few days later the sky is gray and thunder rumbles in the distance but it matches my mood perfectly. I walk in the hotel we are staying at only to see Kevin standing in the lobby, I roll my eyes and hope he doesn't see me but apparently everything is going against me today. I mentally brace myself as he starts to walk over to me "We need to talk about Vanessa." I follow him and we both take a seat I take a deep breath "Alright then let's talk."
"I think we should give her some time to be with her family and we aren't making that easy for her."
"She's already picked you so it doesn't matter for me now does it?" "What do you mean by that?"
I slam my fist down on the table "I saw the two of you on the roof, I heard you talking and I saw you kiss her then I saw her kiss you back so I know she has feelings for you."
I finish my rant and walk away leaving Kevin sitting at the table..
