Vanessa's POV
Its around 7 PM and Im just returning home. Im greeted by our dog Shadow. I go in straight up into my room. My birthday is tomorrow. Yay.. Im just happy being here with my family. I do wish I could meet Zak and Kevin though.
"Hey!! Get dressed loser we're going shopping!", Jen yelled as she slammed the door behind her
"Why, and Why do I have to get dressed"
"Just do it."
"OK Shia LaBoeuf. Is this ok?", I asked showing her my navy blue one shoulder dress.
"Perfect"

I got dressed and came downstairs and saw.... Balloons.. I caught a glimpse of people in the living room... I walked in and saw..
Mom, Jen and Heather all dolled up. Then In tuxedos ,Dad... Zak and Kevin?????
Then I saw a huge banner behind them. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!"
I was stunned.. Dad stepped forward, there was a speaker attached with his laptop on the table he pushed some buttons and turned the volume up....
"Hi Vanessa...Happy Birthday...Miss you....Sisters forever .....Mel, Heather, Jen and Nessa"
Mel.... It was her voice.. Tears filled my eyes and I looked up at Jen and Heather.. They were wearing the necklaces I got for them... My eyes traveled over to mom as she walked over to me..
"Here darling... Happy birthday", She put my necklace around my neck. and kissed my forehead..
Dad followed her. He gave me long hug as I cried against his shoulder. Memories of the first time we met, The investigations. Everything. Came back to me like a flood....
Zak and Kevin came up next... I hugged both of them, Hoping I'd get time with them later...
Jen ,Heather and I had a huge group hug before mom brought in a chocolate mousse cake.. My fave.
And that was when I realized what I had. Family, friends.... I was finally happy...
