Dawn was on her way to meet her father. Instead of meeting at his place, they were meeting at a restaurant. He was supposed to come alone but it looked as if he brought people with him.

She approached their table nervously. She had many things to say to her father but at that moment she was speechless. He resembled a much older Marcel and Dawn got her looks from her mother.

"Hello" Dawn greeted the three interrupting their conversation.

"Nice to see you Dawn." Mark, her father greeted with a warm smile. He wanted to hug her but that would be too much.

She simply smiled and then looked at the other two woman that were seated.

"Oh where are my manners. Dawn this is my wife China and our daughter Camari. China and Cam, this is Dawn." He smiled but neither Camari nor China returned that same smile.

"What is she doing her Mark?" China asked with a face of disgust. She did not approve of Dawn or Marcel because of personal reasons.

"I came to talk to my father. Do you mind if we sit at another table?" Dawn ignored China and her daughter. Cam was about Dawns age which only put more anger and hurt into her.

She didn't understand why he could be in Camari's life but not hers.

"Sure." Her father looked to China for approval and she just gave him a deadly glare. He shook his head and remained in his seat. Dawn mentally rolled her eyes at the hold this woman had on her father.

"You can say whatever you want to say right here." China responded.

"Make it quick because I need to discuss something with my father." Camari smirked.

Dawn so far had managed to block them out but now things were becoming disrespectful.

"So you just gone let this woman tell you what you can and cannot do. You owe me to meet on my terms." Dawn told her father.

"Dawn I just can't right now. Maybe another day." He pleaded and held his head down from guilt.

"No there is no other day. Today is the day that we will speak and alone." Dawn demanded.

"I know but I just can't right now. I'm with my family."

"Why the hell would you agree to meet me today and then bring them with you. This doesn't concern them. I'm your family also!" Dawn got louder. Her emotions were starting to show.

"The fuck is funny?" Dawn asked a laughing China.

"Don't talk to my mom like that. You got the wrong one." Camari told Dawn and stood up.

"Mind your own business." Dawn spat and returned her attention to her dad.

"I've waited twenty two years for this day and you can't even spare me a few moments to answer the questions I need."

"Oh my gawd. Will someone tell her or I will." China blurted.

He shook his head and sighed. "Tell me what?" Dawn asked still staring at her pitiful father.

"He's not your father. See your mama was a whore and got around-"

Dawn hopped over the table and smacked fire into China's mouth before she could finish talking. Mark grabbed her and pulled her back. What just came out of his wife's mouth was a complete lie, but one he's invented to keep her around.
