Roxie pov
A few days went by. Sometimes Laurence and I acted like nothin' happened. other times we had quick kisses and cheeks and foreheads. It was nice. I felt like I was being loved for the first time since mom died. I told him about my life and he told me him. I cried for his stories and for mine, he held me close every time. I eventually got used to it. From time to time I could hear either Garroth, Dante, or Brenden scream with pride with their 'bro'. It was really funny.
"Roxie? Your turn to sing tonight"
We have been taking turns singing to each other. His first song was hallelujah. (hall-LI-lu-ya. I have no clue how to spell it) he sang beautifully.
"Ok"
I pulled out my phone, I pressed the button to the karaoke version...Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri.( I love her music)

"Your voice is beautiful, as always"
"Shut up." I said smiling, he let out a chuckle.
"I am serious. Beautiful."
I got the feeling he wasn't talking about my voice anymore...shoot. We stared into each other's eyes.
"Hello Roxie-chan and Laurence-chan! Oh! Did Kawaii chan...mess something up?"
"No no Kawaii chan. We were hungry, what's for dinner?"
She gave us a look like we 'done goofed'
"Kawaii chan brought grilled chicken with peach cake for desert!"
"Yum" I said "I can't thank you enough"
She gave a little curstsie and left. We started to dig in. The grilled chicken was perfection. "Wawence?" We heard a small voice say. "Rocks?"
We both turned to see little Alexis. Her cheeks were stained red from crying. She even had a few tears going down her cheek. I instinctively opened my arms and she ran into them. "What's wrong Alexis?"
"Mommy and daddy and Bwien were-were f-fighting...." I forgot she had a older brother, Brian.
"Shhh shhh, it's ok"
Laurence watched in amazement on how I was able to calm down Alexis.
"Do you know what they were fighting about?"
"A-a k-knight...."
Laurence's face went pale. Even with the fire burning so brightly. Laurnce had told me about a big war that happened a while ago, but...this was weird.
"Shh, shh. It's ok. I promise." She reminded me so much of my sister. I missed it.
"I-I am going to bed" Laurnce suddenly said.
"What, no good night kiss?" I tried to lighten the mood, but he went on like he never heard me. This is really strange. "Can u sing? Mommy sings when I feel sad.."
"ok."

(My mom used to sing that to me. I am surprised I remembered all the words)
I looked down at Alexis and she was asleep. "Aww" I said to myself quietly.  I got up with Alexis's head on my shoulder. "Ptsss. Laurence," I whispered "I am taking Alexis to Molly. I expect a explanation when I get back. I know you aren't sleep."
His return was a slight moan. Maybe he was asleep.
I started to walk towards the village,
"Where's Laurence?" Asked Dante
"He fell asleep. I am just taking Alexis back to her house."
Just from down the street I could hear yelling. This fight must be bad. Damn, what did Brian do? I knocked on the door and the yelling stopped immediately. "Come in" I heard Molly say.  So I opened the door, Molly looked like she was crying, Dale and Brain were red from yelling.
"Oh Alexis, my sweet baby. Where did she go"
"She said that you guys were yelling," I stopped for a moment to give a small scowl to the boys "and she got scarred. She ran into the forest and she found Laurence and I. She was crying and tired. So I sang her a lullaby and she fell asleep." Molly took her from me and placed her in a bed, upstairs. I gave men of the house hold another small glare before I walked back to Laurence.
Time skip
Laurnce pov
When Alexis said 'knight' I knew exactly what she meant. Brain was the spy. Aphmau had aloud him to live. He could never leave the village again, nor have anything suspicious. If he does, death. I heard footsteps and I turned around to see Roxie, the most beautiful girl in the world. My expression softened a little, she made me calm. "I expect a explanation now that a little girl isn't here" she said.
"Your voice was beautiful when you sang, did you sing it to your siblings?"
"Yes, but tell me"
I explained to her everything. (This is like Garroth never went to Irene's dimension. And Levin isn't lord yet. So...yeah. But they knew Brian was the spy)
"Wow" she said once I was finished.
"I am sorry, I knew I was going to get mad. Even with me being a shadow knight."
She took her hand and put it in mine. I looked down at our hands and then looked after her face. Her emerald eyes sparkled in the light if the fire. We both leaned in and kissed. Not the quick kiss I have her the first time, but the kind boyfriend and girlfriend do. We brake free and smile
"I think I love you, Roxanne"
"I think I love you to, Laurence."
"Laurence, you can trust me."
"And you can trust me"
And we had one more kiss before bed. Wow. I found my first real love.
