Chapter 17 The new dress

Let's just imagine that the world isn't made of blocks. Just imagine that these are real looking people.

Roxie pov
Ren is a little angel. He slept so soundly in his bed. I went down stairs, early, to make breakfast for everyone. Bacon, eggs, potatoes, and some berries. Laurence came down stairs a little after me. "Mornin' babe."
"Morning lover boy." I said. Next we heard tiny footsteps coming down the stairs. Our little boy. "Good morning, mamma. Morning Pa."
"Good morning sweetie. Sleep well?" I asked.
"It was the best sleep I have had in a long time."
Just then, we turned our heads toward the door. Shouting. Lilly, Aphmau, and Kiki can rushing through the door. Ren squeaked and ran to his room. The boy was fast. Oh yeah, fox-hybrid.
"Omg! Where is my nephew?!" Said Lilly.
Rennard poked his head out. Lilly walked toward him. He looked shy. He ran to me and hugged my tight around my legs. I giggled and picked him up. He nestled his head in my hair. Laurence wrapped a arm around me. Kiki smiled. Aphmau squealed, "MY OTP!"
Lilly had taught her some things from our old dimension.
"Rennard, say hello. That is your aunt Lilly." I said. Lilly smiled the brightest smile. Ren smiled to Lilly too. "H-hello." He squeaked
"Hi, Ren. Like your mom said, I am your aunt."
Ren let go of his grip on me and went to the floor. He stood looking up at the girls before him. Aphmau was all like, "he is so cute!" And "OMG!"
Kiki was more calm. I bet someone told her about him being a fox. "Hello Ren. I am Kiki. I heard you are part fox?"
He nodded his head.
"Can I see?" Said Kiki, with her brightest smile. Ren closed his eyes. I guess he imagined being a fox. Then right before us, he was a fox. A small, orange, one. the fur matched his hair. "Interesting.." Said Kiki. Then Ren turned back to human.
Time skip
The girls left and my family ate in peace. I knew Gabe is coming next. Maybe with Emmayln. I haven't talked to her in a while. But she is going to be a bridesmaid. "Ren, dear, please eat your food."
"Momma, do we have any nuts?"
"Sure thing little man," said Laurence. He got up and looked in the pantry. "Cashews? Almonds?"
"What about walnuts?"
Laurence scanned the inside then said, "ah! Walnuts."
He tossed the nuts to Ren and he ate them and ate the berries. Laurence handed me a cup of coffee. "Ren," Laurence began, "I want you go get yourself cleaned up after breakfast. You are going to make new friends."
"Friends?! Yay!"
So we finished up and I brought Ren to the bath room. I scrubbed his hair until it shined. Ren looked like me but had the color of Laurence's eyes. He had the freckles, orange hair, skinny. I got up to go get a towel, when I came back, he was playing with a bubble. He played like a curious, well, fox. He was so concentrated. Until it popped. Then he noticed me. "Um, hehe.. Hi momma."
I smiled a giggled. I wrapped him in a towel. I found a blue t-shirt and some jeans. I got on a green shirt and some shorts. Laurence had already left for guard duty. Ren and I walked around until we found all the kids. "Malichi!" I called. The little boy stood in front of me. Alexis noticed I was there "woxie!" She called. She ran to me with open arms. I accepted the hug then twirled her around. "Weeee! Again! Again!"
"Well, Alexis, this is my new son. Ren."
Levin and Kyle walked over to where I was; they saw a new friend. "Hi..." My son said sheepishly.
"Hi! I am Malichi! That's my brother, Levin. The boy over there is Kyle. And you have meet Alexis."
Before I knew it, Ren was playing with his new friends. In just 1 days, my wedding. "Ren, I will be at you aunt Cadenza's!" I called
"Ok ma!"
Awww. Ok, serious time. I strolled over to Cadenza's. "Cadenza?" I said knocking on her door. "Come in." I heard a faint reply. I walked around. Then I found Cadenza in her room, face down on a pillow. The pillow was wet? I ran to her side, "Cadenza?! What's wrong?". She lifted her face to reveal red cheeks and puffy eyes. "Cadenza!" I said wrapping my arms around her, "please don't cry. Tell me, what is wrong?"
She squeezed me super hard. "Roxie...I am sorry. Just...my brother...he has a kid and you....I don't want him to be taken away."
"Oh Cadenza," I stopped hugging her so she would look at me, "he won't ever leave you. He won't leave his family. You are my sister as well. I can promise he won't."
She wiped away her tears. "Thanks Roxie. You are a true sister. And, new topic, I wanted you to wear a different dress. I already made it."
"Oh, ok!"
She led me to her sewing room and stood a beautiful dress. The shoulders were big and puffy, the back of the dress was a few feet away from the dress, the sleeves form a triangle that points to my middle finger. It was the most beautiful thing ever.
"Well, are you going to try it on?" She asked smiling.
I gave her a smile, I was speechless. I grabbed the dress and went into a changing room.
Time skip
Cadenza pov
While Roxanne was changing, I went and got the rest of the girls who will be in the wedding. Aphmau, Emmalyn, Lilly, Alexis. And her father. I knew he would want to see her beautiful daughter. We were gathered around the door she went in. I few seconds after they came, she stepped out. She was elegant. Stunning. Speechless. My best piece of work. Lilly walked to her sister slowly. "You really are leaving me and dad." She said
Roxane wrapped her arms around her little sister. "Never."
Gabe joined the hug with his daughters.
I forgot to give her something, "oh Roxie! I forgot!" I pulled a little tiara from my pocket. I put it on her head. She looked like a princess.
"My baby girl is growing up." Said Gabe. Aphmau and Emmalyn were still speechless. Alexis smiled and ran to Roxie "pwincess! Pwincess! Can I be a pwincess?"
Roxie picked her up, "of course Alexis! Anything you want!"
I can't believe it. Come tomorrow, she will be my sister.
