Chapter 16 Rennard

Roxie pov
Kids?! KIDS?! Oh boy. I knew it. But, I am not ready. The wedding is in a few days. I have been trying to find a wedding dress for a while.
"What about this one?" Says Kiki, getting me out of my thoughts. "Eh.." I reply. I have been having nightmares lately. I haven't been getting much sleep. "Your picky this time" said Lilly. I reply by yawning and rubbing my eyes. Then something fought my eye. Perfect. A perfect dress. It has white flower straps, it was long, down to the floor. It either had a veil or a white flower "crown"
"I found one!" I call to my friends. Lilly, Cadenza, Aphmau, and Kiki come over.
"Perfect"
"Beautiful"
"Finally" I hear my sister sarcastically say
"But it needs pearls." I say
"Can I fix it?" Ask Cadenza.
"Sure. Replace the flowers on the straps into pearls. I can use the veil with the tiny crown. The little gem can be replaced." I say. I twirl with the ring that I woke up with the other day. I had a dream where a woman named Sophie gave it to me. It is a emerald ring. My lucky ring. (Read my dares and question books to get this reference)
"Consider it done!" Said Cadenza. I have her my best smile, even though it was fake. "I think the bride needs sleep." Said Lilly. I mouthed the word 'thanks' and then I walked home and passed out.

Laurence pov
Roxie took the kids thing really well. So I am training to get my mind off of things. Garroth and Dante come up behind me and scare me. "Oh my Irene!"
"Dude! Your tux! We need to get you one!" Says Dante
"Man, step up your game. It is your wedding too." Says Garroth
I sighed. Don't the girls do all the work? "Fine"
We head over to my sisters house for a tux. Cadenza made me a black tux, with a white shirt and a black tie. Cadenza started to cry. She hugged me tight. "I love you, bro."
I smiled and sighed and hugged her harder."I love you so sis. I will always be your brother."
She laughed "you better."
Just then, my fiancé came down the stairs. She wore a blue bless with a flower crown. Beautiful as always. "Hey Cadenza, I am here to pick up my- oh! Hey guys!"
Garroth and Dante said hi and she hugged me. "I must be dreaming. You got even more handsome." She commented on my tux.
"Haha! And i thought you couldn't get more beautiful."
"Awwwww!" Said Cadenza.
Roxanne kissed my cheek and went to Cadenza. She must either be picking up her wedding dress or the bridesmaids dresses. "Laurence, you can't see me in my wedding gown! That's bad luck!" She said. But, something in her eyes told me that something was going to happen. I decided not to question it. I just smiled, went to a room, and got out of my tux. Then covered my eyes and walked out of the house. Garroth and Dante followed. "We weren't aloud to see it either." Said Garroth
"But I think the dress has some blue. Or green. I saw a little glimpse."
Dante, Garroth and I just walked around for the rest of the day. Just talking.

Roxanne pov
After the boys were shooed out, I tried on my dress. It had hints of mint green in the bottom, and the rest was white. The straps were, I think, silk and the went around my shoulders. (Kinda like the straps on Belle's dress in Beauty and the Beast)
The dress wasn't that fancy, but it made my day. It was beautiful. I looked beautiful. I didn't even notice the tears until Cadenza came and hugged me. "Take care of my brother." She said, tears coming slowly down her face. She looked at my dress. I looked at it more. It was long, down to the floor. (I am bad at giving details.) we heard someone coming down the stairs. "Roxie?! Is that you?!" Said a familiar voice. Lilly. Her hair....it wasn't purple anymore. It is the same color of brown the day that I last saw her when she was little. Her chocolate eyes sparkled. She smiled and did a little twirl. She was wearing white to! I ran up to her and hugged her. No matter what happens, she will always be my little sister. "So. What do you think?"
"Lilly...you look so grown up..."
"Yeah, yeah. Don't go crying on me. Your wedding is in a few days. So, are the bridesmaids dresses pretty?"
"Yeah. Beautiful. Yet simple. Just a silk white dress won a white flower crown."
"Perfect. Well, I am off. I am going to meet Brenden. Your right...I think I am in love. And he is in love with me."
I hugged her again, even tighter. My little sister. So grown up.

Magical time skip

I was going over to Kawaii Chan and Dante's place for something to eat when I heard a ...whimper. Laurence watched my from the tower as I went into the woods. I was a few paces in when I saw him. A little fox. The orange fur near his paw was bloody and had a bone sticking out. He snapped at me until I managed to pet his head. I picked him up carefully. He yelped. "Shhh, shh, little guy. It's ok. I am here now." I cooed him. His crystal blue eyes stared into my emerald ones. I felt a connection. "Laurence! GET DONNA!" I called. He rushed to find Donna then came to me. I cradled the fox like a baby. "What happened?" He asked.
"I was going to get something to eat when I heard him whimpering. I couldn't leave him to die. Everyone deserves life."
He smiled at me. I knew I said the right thing. Donna, Logan, and Yip were coming. Logan transformed into a werewolf and spoke to the fox. He changed back to human after a few words. "He said a snare got him. He was able to escape, but with the cost of his paw."
Donna took him to her house. Yip played with the children. I made Laurence stay with me. Donna healed him up. She left and Laurence tired to get me to come home. "No. I am staying here with him."
"Why, he is healed."
"Because.....because......I want to keep him."
"Ok, ok. But does this count as my wedding gift?"
"No! I found him."
"Haha! Ok. Be home soon"
"Mmk, babe."
I rubbed the little foxes head. He must be at least a few moths old. "Don't worry. I am here now. I will be your momma. My little baby. I will name you-"
"Rennard. My name is...Rennard." Yiped a little voice. I looked down to the fox in amazement. He spoke?! I took my hand of his head and the fox glowed white. In place of the fox, was a little boy. Rennard. I looked at him and he looked at me.
"My name...means.....brave. Or fox in German." He squeaked. He looked to be seven years old. He had raged, orange hair, blue eyes, and some freckles. The perfect child. "Rennard. I...I said I would be your momma. And I mean it. Me and Laurence will take care of you."
"Is...is, he your mate?"
"Yes."
I pulled out my purple amulet and spoke into it. "Laurence,...come quick."
I was in the verg of tears. Laurence and I got our wish. A child. Laurence came busting through the door. He also stared. "That is your father." I said to Rennard.
"Laurence, this is Rennard. We....got a child." I cried. Laurence hugged me. Rennard was crying to. He had a family. We had a group hug. Rennard's leg was healed.
"Hey kid, mind if I call you Ren? Rennard is kinda a mouth full."
"Sure...pa." Said Ren.
"So Ren," I said breaking the hug, "how old are you?"
"Well, mama, I am six years old. I am a hy-hy.....a mix of a werewolf and a fox."
"Ok, you mean a hybrid?" Asked Laurence,
"Yeah! That's the word!"
Ren started to look tired. So Laurence picked up the boy and took him home. People stared at us, but I didn't care. Lady Irene answered our prayers. I couldn't be happier.
