Chapter 26 Ellegard Binaca

Roxie pov
I sat in my room, just listing to the distant sound of the fan. It's late at night. I can't sleep. I'm too restless. Plus, my baby won't let me. I smile to myself every time she wakes me up. Lilly is asleep in the chair in the room. I look at the clock, 1:36 am.
Great. I'm never going to get a sleep- "ow!" I shout. Lilly's head shot strait up looking at me, "Roxie!? Are you ok?!"
"I-I think I'm fine-- OW!"
Lilly ran to get a nurse. The pain grew and I realized that my girl wanted out! She got a good hit on me and I yelped. A nurse came in with an IV in her hand. She put it my arm and then a few doctors rushed me out of the room. The world got a little blurry, "your going to be ok." I heard Laurence's voice say. He wasn't near me but I can hear him, "I love you Roxanne"
I whisper to myself, "I love you too Casanova." And I drift of into the pitch black.

Lilly pov
I paced around in the waiting room. Ren fell asleep in the chair I was in. Zoey, Levin, and Malachi just sat looking bored. A woman with curly gray hair cam out having a clipboard in her hand. I looked at her, hoping she was Roxie's doctor. "Are you Roxanne's sister?" She asked.
"Y-yes ma'am." I stuttered.
"May I ask, where is the father?"
Ren looked up. "He is at the battle field." I replied calmly. She nodded and motioned us to follow her. I took Ren's hand and we walked down the hallway. She said only family can come so the others stayed back. Roxie was asleep as we entered the room. Even though she was asleep, I could practically see the proud aura around her. The doctor turned and she was holding a bundle of blankets. The blankets are pink and white. A girl. I opened my arms and she put the baby in them. I could see the brown fuzz on top of her head. Her eyes opened a little and I could see the Emerald color of green. "Lilly?" Asked my sister. I walked towards her and sat on her bedside. "Congrats sis. She's healthy." I said. Roxie's eyes became wet with tears of joy. "Wakey, wakey mommy." Said Ren. She smiled. "Hi baby." I held out the baby to Roxie and she took her. The baby fully opened her eyes. Roxie's smile grew.

Roxie pov

I could see the freckles starting to come on her little cheeks. "Ellegard." I said. Lilly looked confused, "is that her name?"
I nod. "Elegant Bianca of Pheonix Drop."
Ren look my free hand and held it close, "am I a big bwofer?"
"Yes darling. Your a big brother. And this is your sister Ellegard." I replied. The doctor wrote it down on her clip board. The baby yawned and closed her eyes. I smiled and sang a little lullaby, "deep in the meadow. Under the willow. A bed of grass, a soft green pillow. Lay down your head Close your sleepy eyes And when again they open, the sun will rise."
The baby drifted to sleep. Ren had too. Lilly looked like she was going to but stayed awake. I felt tired myself. Lilly took Ellegard and handed her to the baby. Lilly sat in a chair and fell asleep. Ren climbed in my bed with me and snores softly. My eye lids felt heavy and the pitch dark surrounded me.
