*ONE YEAR LATER*

ROSIES POV
----------------------

"Leona?" I called out.

"Yes Rosie-Posie?" She replied.

Yeah.

Sadly, she had given me the nick name of Rosie Posie. It was the worst nick name ever but I put up with it because I loved the living day lights out of her.

"Thank you," I replied.

"For what?" She questioned.

"For helping me." I smiled.

Leona was a huge part of my life now. I spent every single day with her. It was hard at first, because we were both broken people trying to put each other back together, but in the end we got used to each other's outbursts, and learnt that it's okay not to be okay.

"For staying with me. You picked me up when I was at my worst. I was put into that rehab with no friends, no life. I had nothing. I thought that once I got out, I would try again; to kill myself. I thought that there was no use. I slept all day, and hardly ate, and then you turned up and you gave me a reason to live," I said.

She blushed and took my hands in hers, she pulled me down to sit with her.

"I love you Leona, I love you so much. You mean the world to me, and I never want to let you go. When I saw you were just as broken as me, I thought you would hate me because you hated yourself, and we were so alike, so I just expected you to leave like everybody else did, but you stayed. You're different Leona. You're something special." I said truthfully.

Tears welled up in her eyes, and she smiled at me. A tear slipped down her cheek and I lifted my hand to dust it away.

"You're amazing you know that right?" I said. My voice began to crack, and I felt the wetness slip down my face.

My eyesight went blurry, and I clung to her like a lost puppy. I hugged her tightly and we stayed in silence and sobbed into each other's chests.

"How did I ever find someone like you?" She asked.

"I'm not sure, but I'm so glad that we did. This past year has been nothing but greatness for me. Now suicide is the last thing on my mind, and that's all because of you Leona," I said.

"You sure do have a way with words," she said, laughing through sobs.

She looked so beautiful when she smiled. How could someone so perfect, hate herself? She had beautiful hazel eyes, like melting chocolate, gorgeous pastel faded red hair, she was Leona, and that's all I could ever ask for.

"What are you staring at?" She asked.

"You." I laughed.

Cliche, I know.

"I was a mess when I met you. A complete tornado. If someone touched me I would blow up, and go crazy. You were the only sane thing I had," I carried on.

"You're turning me into a waterfall," she laughed, wiping her tear stained face.

The door swung open, and Phil looked at us both.

"What's with all the tears? are you alright?" Phil asked, with worry in his voice.

"More than alright," Leona said.
