I pulled away breathless and confused. This is like a rollarcoaster, honestly. But, I guess the whole school knows now.

"You've got to get out of here and get to class before you get caught." I looked up to see Lincoln's other friend standing close to us.

"Blaise this is Lucas, Lucas this is Blaise. Now let's go." Lincoln said grabbing my hand and running towards our class.

I guess I finally knew the mysterious third one's name. Lucas. He was very quiet but didn't give off a bad vibe really. He was tall with dark hair and a blank face most of the time.

We got to the class both trying to catch our breath as we walked in laughing heading towards our seats. When I took my seat I looked over to the empty desk, no Maya. Which was fine with me. I should check and see what the damage was though.

"Okay, class it's a free day to work on your projects. Pull your desks together and get to work!" the teacher announced taking a seat at her desk burying herself in work.

Lincoln took no time pulling his desk to mine.

"A little eager are we?" I said winking.

"Don't get to excited now." He said leaning back in his chair. He looked gorgeous to say the least. His muscles were showing through his thin t-shirt and his hair a mess from the fight he just had. I quickly shook the thoughts out of my head and started working on my half of the project. We were a bit behind.

It's really hard to concentrate on this damn project while there is so much running through my head. Lincoln can't seem to make up his mind but then again neither can I. He has a short fuse of his own, we're both hot in the head. Maybe we could save each other? Or would we only drag each other down? This could be poisonous. We both want to take each other's demons but we're fighting enough separately as it is.

"What's wrong?" I snapped out of it, I must have looked lost in my thoughts.

"Nothing." I murmured continuing my work.

"It's not nothing. Blaise, you can tell me." He said putting a hand over mine. My hand felt hot under his.

"It's nothing to be discussed here and truly it's just me lost in my own thoughts. Please don't worry about it." I gave him a small smile. He didn't look to convinced though.

After what seemed like forever the bell finally rang. I gathered my things and stood up from desk and took a second to stretch. I'm honestly exhausted. I feel like my mind has been running a race.

"Let me walk you." Lincoln said putting his arm around me.

"Sure." I smiled.

The day went by slowly and I of course was drowning in my own thoughts. Lincoln eventually gave up on asking me what's wrong due to my lack of answer. Finally it was time to go and we all headed out in a group.

"Blaise, what's on your mind?" Mason said swinging an arm around my neck. He's knows me to well. But he is my twin. I guess you could say our emotions are almost connected. I'm closer to him than anyone.

"Nothing, I'm alright. Trust me." I smiled up at him and he gave me a squeeze. I know he wasn't fully convinced but he let it drop.

I was about to get in my car when I felt an arm snake around me waist and twist me around. I came face to face with Lincoln, our noses almost touching. My heart beat starting picking up. Man, he really has an effect on me that I thought nobody ever would be able to have.
