Picture is Mason.
Blaise POV
I got to my house and jumped out and slammed the door. I stomped inside with Mason and my friends behind me. I plopped on the couch, threw my leg on the coffee table and tried to steadily light a smoke. My hands are shaking.
Why am I so mad? She only bumped into me.
It's always scary when the beast tries to surface whether she does or not.
The beast is something I inherited from my father. My over the top anger problem. I'm supposed to take medicine, but I don't. Because if I do then I'm not myself. I can't really explain the beast, all I know is I see red.
I have an attitude in general but the beast is a whole different thing.
"Calm down, it's okay." Jake said sitting on the floor while noticing my shaking hands.
"I'm working on it." I whispered examining my shaking hands. They were covered in tiny scars you could only notice if you were looking closely. Scars from when the beast surfaces.
Mason put a hand over mine and smiled.
"Jared we need to calm Blaise down!" he yelled up the stairs.
Both of my brothers came running down the stairs tripping over each other.
They stopped in front of me examining me for blood, cuts, and other things of that sort. Jared and Nathan, always so concerned and caring.
"Nothing happened." I said rolling my eyes. They both let out a big sigh of relief.
"She came close, the girl stopped dead in her tracks when she realized who she was, and I grabbed her arm in time so nothing escalated. We just need her to calm down." Mason explained.
Cassie and Tyler came in from their make out session outside and plopped down on the floor.
"We getting the good stuff?" Cassie winked at me.
"It's not something I do for fun, Cas." I looked at suddenly feeling exhausted.
"It's fun for me!" She sang.
"Well it's fun when I'm not using it to calm down." I shrugged.
Jared disappeared upstairs and returned with the box that calms me down. He pulled out a small glass pipe and loaded it with green that smelled heavenly. I can already feel myself calming.
Yes, I know. Weed is bad. It's illegal. But since I stopped taking my medicine we discovered it's the only thing that can calm me down when the beast claws her way out. It also calms down my brothers who have anger issues of their own. But nothing like mine. They got lucky.
After we finished smoking we were all laying back watching Southpaw. It gave me an itch to throw some punches of my own. I shook my head and pushed that feeling down. Maybe I should get a gym membership. Letting off some steam every once in awhile might help keep the beast under wraps.
I looked over at Nathan who had a tear rolling down his cheek. This is going to be good!
"NATHAN, YOU'RE CRYING!" I yelled so everyone could hear.
He froze and looked up at me. When everyone burst out laughing he quickly wiped the tear away.
"Screw all of you! Real men cry!" he said pouting.
"Whatever you say 'Crybaby Walker'" Jared said rubbing his hands under his eyes mimicking someone crying. Which made us laugh even harder.
"F*ck you!" Nathan yelled getting up and smacking Jared in the head. Jared was laughing to hard to slap back.
