My heads spinning. I keep on coughing. My nose is a bit itchy. My usually pale face is now red and my nose is unusually red. My body is aching and I feel like a mess. I know what this is.

It's the flu.

"Binti, come do the dishes."

"I'm feeling very sick. I think I got the flu."

And suddenly, a jacket is flung towards me, a container of tablets is given to me and a box of tissues is placed on my bedside. Throughout my "sick leave" I'd find my mother caring for me and my dad would help out too.

Soon enough, I'm feeling much more better and all of a sudden, I'm at the dinner table eating my mum's famous Macarona Bachamel. Mmm.. And out of the blue, baba cleats his throat and looks at me.

"I know why you caught the flu."

I internally groaned, knowing what was about to come. There was silence for a few moments before Baba spoke.

"You didn't cover yourself at night using the billions of blankets we have you...

My dad's not the only one who says that, right? He'll always tell me that when I get sick.

Comment your favourite food.
Mine has to be grape leaves and Macarona Bachamel. And Falafel. Ahh... it's delicious

Also, I'd like to thank each and every single person. Yesterday, my notifications were bombarded with voted and comments and I'm just so happy. Alhamdulilah I just want to give you guys a huge bear hug.
