So here's the thing about the mysterious tea that all arabs obsess over. It's just tea! It's the same tea that every human being has tasted! There's nothing different about it... literally.
Figuratively, tea brings the family closer. The family get together to sip on the piping, hot tea and listen to the stories of the others. Tea brings the family closer, it brings a sense of peace and calmness.

Actually I don't. Tea is absolutely amazing. It just... it's indescribable. There's no way to describe the mysterious and great things that tea does.
To arabs, tell is not just a want, it's a need. Hahaha..
Famous scenario between all arab families:
"*insert your name* make tea for us," your parents would tell you. You'd sigh and forcefully move yourself of the comfy bed to make tea. By then, you already memorized the amount of sugar and tea your parents want. You hand them the cups of tea and hurriedly leave to your room.
An hour later
"Habibti, make for the whole family tea," your parents would call out to you
Not even thirty minutes later and you'll here your mum tell you to make tea, again
