So Arab dads! Simply the greatest, aren't they?

Okay, I'm not sure if it's only my dad but Bismillah!

Scenario:

So you knock on your parents bedroom and hear your mum say come in. You enter their bedroom (which is always the largest room in the house) and see your mother reading qur'an. Your father on the other hand!

Oh boy!

His laying on the bed with an iPad and a cellphone in hand! His reading glasses are on his nose (not on the bridge of his nose, might I add) and the TV is blaring the news on Al-Jazeera. You're curious, you've never seen your father like that so you go and stand next to him. On the iPad, his Facebook page is open and on his cellphone, his whatsapp messages are open.

Suddenly the news reporter reports the latest Breaking news. You hear your dad grumble and mumble something about it while still looking at the iPad...

This is weird, you think so you decide to test your dad. You're say out loud that you want to see what program is on your favorite channel and you're just about to snatch the remote when your father says, "Don't. I'm watching the news. Go study or something."

He's still on his iPad and cellphone though.

Weird! Absolutely weird. And you silently leave the room. All worries over if you can attend your friends birthday party, forgotten.

Sorry, it's not really good. I'm writing this in a rush because I have to be somewhere...

Anyway! Eid Mubarak! What did you think of this chapter???
