Day of the move

All my boxes were loaded inside the truck. I couldn't believe how fast things went by.

Going back to last week, the night Andre got beat up, the cops took him to the hospital. They then arrested him for sexual assault.

Apparently they got tipped off by an anonymous caller. Betting you anything that that was Travis.

Speaking of Travis, he tried to convince me to stay and be his girlfriend again but I had to turn down the offer. We aren't dating but we've had some good nights together.

As the last small boxes made it into our car, I walked inside our now empty house.

I'm going to miss this place so much. So many amazing, good memories and now they'll all just be a picture or blur soon. I hope I can remember them for as long as I can. At least the good ones of course. The ones that made me carefree and never having to worry about troubles in the world coming to me.

A tear rolled down my cheek. Before locking up the door, I took one last look at the house, smiled, and went to the car.

Everyone that helped left because they were not only tired of how much they helped out but of how early it was too. It was already 9:30pm and we started at 7am. Even I felt like going to sleep.

Travis wanted to come help keep me company in L.A. and show me around since he's been here before but he had work. I told him it was fine and a bit more fun discovering things on my own.

Dad had said that the drive to L.A. would be 2 hours, so I brought my drawing book with me along with a book and headphones.

The first couple minutes of the drive I put my headphones in and started to play Stay With Me. I looked at the sky clearing up from the marine layer. I just kept thinking what L.A. could have in store for me. Like, seriously will anything good happen to me while we're in L.A.?

I kept thinking of endless possibilities until I slowly drifted off to sleep.

"LEEENA! WAKE UP! WE'RE HERE!!" Bella was shaking me so much I felt like I was getting a whiplash.

"Ugh get off me! Okay! I'm up! Jeez Bel, you can be real annoying sometimes you know that?" I rubbed my eyes, trying to see the new house through the window.

"No daddy says I'm an angel. Unlike you." She got off my lap and ran inside.

My vision was clear now and the house looked AMAZING. I didn't think we could actually afford a house like this.

The entrance looked beautiful. It had swirls right above the door and the door was a burgundy color and the house was darkish gray color with white every here and there.

I entered inside to my Dad arguing with someone one the phone. I didn't want to be there when things got worse so I went upstairs to pick out my room.

The first couple rooms were too small, a bunch of closets or didn't have a bathroom. I reached for the 5th room and then once I opened it, I knew this was my room.

It was still empty but it had a mirror door to the closet and inside....oh....my.....gosh. It was like it's own room. It had shelves for shoes and 3 racks for clothes.

After fantasizing about my closet, I look at my huge ass bathroom then head towards the two-sided doors. I opened the doors and I couldn't believe my eyes. It had it's own balcony.

I'm definitely having this room. Our backyard had a pool and Jacuzzi. Next to my balcony was a tall tree blocking my view of what was on the left side. But on the right side was the view of L.A's busy streets and buldings.
