The more time ticked closer for Justin's party, the more nervous I got. I thought of cancelling but that would make it look like I didn't like him.
I chose to wear my black dress. Not too fancy but not too casual, just my type. I didn't really grow up a girly girl, which I didn't mind. I grew up better around guys. Less drama to worry about.
Not too long ago, dad asked me where I was going dressed like this. I told him a party and he objected. I convinced him by saying this would be a good way to make new friends. He said it was okay as long as I stay out of trouble, keep my phone on and be back before 12.
Trust me I don't even want to stay for more than two hours.
I sat on the couch watching T.V. to kill time. I started to watch The Vampire Diaries. I had already finished all the seasons so I rewatched season two, when Stelena was still around. I wanted to restart and watch the seasons all in order this time around. I was on episode 10 when my phone vibrated.
Daddy J:
I'm headed your way. Hope your ready :)I'm totally NOT ready. Let me just cancel, yeah?
I texted back 'yup' along with my address. I hope his friends are nice and welcoming. Though I've heard L.A. people can be nasty.
[A/N: People from L.A. don't take it personal. I've actually met some nice people from L.A.]
Not long after I texted him, I heard a honk from outside. I checked out the window. It was a nice Audi R8 matte black. I swear if we go to the same school he'll be taking me everday.
Turning off the T.V. and yelling bye to dad, I grabbed my bag and headed out. As I walked closer to Justin's car, he came out to open my door. He was wearing a short sleeve flannel with a black shirt under along with black pants and blue vans. I couldn't stop staring at his muscles showing.
"Hey Len, I asked are you nervous?" Justin asked with raising his eyebrow.
"Oh, uh kind of. I'm not really a party person." I said with pure honesty.
"Well I'll make sure you enjoy this one." He smiled making sure everything would be alright.
I smiled back while getting in the car. I waited for him to go back around to his side and get in. Once he was buckled, we drove off. It was awkward-silent the whole drive to his house.
"How long have you lived here?" I asked taking off my seatbelt and braking the silence.
"Um pretty much all my life. Where did you use to live?" I noticed that he had an even bigger house than mine.
When I thought a house couldn't get any bigger than mine.
I also noticed all the cars parked in front along with some people drinking or smoking. I guess this is how big people usually party over here because back home it's usually a bit smaller.
"Um down in San Diego. Carlsbad exactly. Not many people know about it actually."
"Well I'd like to visit. Know more about it if you don't mind. Maybe even you can be my guide."
I smiled inside my head. Oh gosh I hope I'm not blushing. We entered his house and I was hit with an aroma of beer mixed with smoke and other substances. Are his parents even home? Or does he live alone? I'll have to get back to him about that.
He took my arm and led me through the crowd. He ended up in his big ass backyard. We walked for a bit before reaching a group of girls and guys.
"Hey Justin! Where you been boy?!" A guy around my age yelled. He looked like he was on the egde of getting drunk. They did a little bro handshake and Justin turned to me.
