As Zealot walked down to her village she could vaguely remember her family. It had been a year since she had been here. A year since she found Eternity. She paused for a second before grabbing a knife from her bag and looked at it. It was the knife her dad had given her the day she left. She remembered it like it was yesterday. He had told her to take it and get some berries from the garden. She thought about how she would just waltz in all cleaned up. She took the knife and sliced her arm up. She stared at the blade of the knife. The silvery glint off of it blinding Her. The markings on it saying something that her dad told her could only be read by the 'chosen one'. She saw her own blood dripping off it. She stared at the blood, and in it a face seemed to emerge... It's eyes looked at her with an intimidating smile, as if sizing her up, and she just got this feeling it wasn't by coincidence.

"gonna go kiddo?" Eternity asked. Dragons can sense there riders emotions and speak through there mind.

"I... Eternity. I'm not sure. I dont know these people. How do I know they will even love me after leaving them for a few years?" Zealot asked.

She was halfway to the village, but something seemed different. It seemed to have a darker mood. She looked at all the dragons in the sky. Most of them seemed content, with riders seeming relatively on-edge. She stared as she saw that some dragons, ones that, even being away for as long as she had, she could recognize, but she had grown up, there was no way they would recognize her... Was there? And why was it that the ones she seemed to know were flying slower, with there head down, just concentrating on flying, as if fighting something off there mind.

"kiddo, it's a risk you have to take..."Eternity interrupted her thoughts.

"your right, I am the great silver dragons rider, it's time to face them!" Zealot bellowed in her mind.

She heard Eternity chuckle, and just let him laugh it out. As she slowly walked closer, and closer, and closer to the village, she got more excited with every step she took. As she walked down to the edge of the village, she got an unnerving feeling on the pit of her stomach, and she knew, something was terribly wrong.

"Eternity... I don't know what I'll say..."

She heard Eternity chuckle.

"be yourself!" Eternity laughed,"they don't have a choice to love you, you know, kinda like you don't have a choice in loving me!"

"ha ha" Zealot said and Eternity noted the sarcasm in her voice.

Unfortunately, Eternity understood something Zealot didn't. And he never had the heart to tell her.
