Creation Vs Evolution (what is evolution)

Hello all!
On Friday, my youth group had a special speaker come and talk about why evolution can't be true. I'll be condensing his condensed reasoning here. There's so much to talk about so I'll be breaking it up through a few chapters. This one will be: What is Darwinian evolution?
Evolutionists believe that millions of years ago, something came from nothing, and it exploded and eventually formed the fist cell. That cell evolved into bigger and greater animals until it eventually evolved into humans.
Now, there was a national geographic that had the title: was Darwin wrong? That magazine answered "no". They then go on to explain that all these animals have changed over millions of years, and that we can see evolution happening even today. The finches on Galapagos island have evolved to have larger or smaller beaks. That's evolution they said. They said, if we are seeing small changes (micro-evolution) now, surely big changes (mega-evolution) have happened over the course of millions of years.
Evolutionists claimed to have many examples for evolution. One is the peppered moths. They say that the moths evolved to have dark wings while there was pollution, and the birds ate all the white colored moths. When they fixed the factories so there was no more pollution, the birds ate those that hadn't evolved to be white colored moths.
They state that naked mole rats have a similar social structure to termites. That must mean that they are related to those bugs. They claim to have found the bones of missing links. Lucy was one example.
Where did this idea come from? Not Darwin. It started getting voiced in Europe by a man named Charles Lyell, who used it to try and overthrow the monarchy. The concept actually came about by the Greeks, who believed that it was possible for them to become gods or demigods.
Because the explanation for why evolution can't be true is so long, I'm gonna explain it in the next chapter.
Hey I have a semi-funny story to share with you all. There was a boy in my science class in eighth grade. I don't talk to him anymore because he goes to a different school than me, and I don't have any way to contact him. Anyway, my friend and I were trying to explain to him why evolution can't be true. One of the reasons we said was, "evolution can't be true because it contradicts itself." This was his answer: "I know it contradicts itself, but it's still true." ...Um... What?????? I mean, think about that answer. It makes no sense. So, if you are an evolutionist, and someone asks how it can be true, please don't give that answer. Seriously. Have a great week, and God bless.
