So, last chapter we talked about what evolution is. Here, we'll talk about why it can't be true, and Darwin is wrong. Ok, so first, and I totally forgot to mention it in the other chapter, why did Darwin believe the bible to be false? This throws off many people. So we see small changes among species. That's not a problem for creationists. See, God told the animals to be fruitful and multiply. That means that sometimes they'd have to change a little bit. So species changing, not a problem. But evolutionists are saying that kinds can change. So how did it all come about? Well, the Catholic Church had been preaching that species did not change. The bible never said that, but most people couldn't read so they followed along with what the church said. When Darwin saw that species of finches were changing, he though, "oh, species are changes, but the bible said they don't. Therefore the bible must be false." And that's a problem with false teachings. I won't go into that today, but maybe I will have a chapter on false teachings some other time.
So, why is it false? Let's start with this thing called the law of biogenesis. That states that living things cannot come from nonliving things. Even evolutionists believe that. So, in the beginning, how did that living cell come from a nonliving particle? That's the first contradiction that I used with the boy I told you about in the last chapter. Now, evolutionists need to get passed that law first in order to move on with the rest. So, if you don't agree with me on this, like that boy did, don't read the rest. Anything else I say will fly right over your head.
Abiogenesis was taught in the Catholic Church. Abiogenesis says that species will not change. The bible never says species will not change. It says kinds will not change. Genesis 1:24 says "...let the earth bring forth living creatures after their own kind...and it was so." What is the difference between kinds and species? Species is lower on the taxonomic rank. You remember that? Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species. Or to help us remember, my teacher said: Kids Playing Catch On Freeway Get Smashed. Where is kind? It would be in between family and genus.
Let's take a mule for example. That is evolution between a horse and a donkey, right? No, it's still breeding between its kind. A donkey is part of the horse kind. God created the horse kind, which eventually split into species differences, such as horses, donkeys, zebras... But they are all part of the same kind. Same with a liger. A cross between a lion and a tiger. It's still breeding between the cat kind. We'd never breed say, a dog and a cat, right? It wouldn't work, and they'd probably die. We have tried breeding a human with an ape, but the women kept dying. Why? Because we are not the same species.
Now, last time I mentioned the peppered moth example. First, that's slight change between species. Second, in order for evolution to occur, the creature needs new DNA and stuff to evolve. The moths always had that DNA, so they were not evolving. Last, that example turned out to be false. Moths come out at night, birds are asleep then. It was actually bats who are the moths, and bats don't care which color the moths are. They can't really see. And moths didn't stay in the bark, instead someone took dead moths and glued them to the tree, or they'd get stuck due to the sap. So...yeah.
Now, I talked last time about micro evolution and mega evolution. Can I ask something, here? Okay, so if animals are constantly evolving over millions of years to eventually become humans, what made the animals we see today stop evolving? Why didn't they change into apes and eventually humans? One of Murphy's general laws states that left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse. If evolution is true, then why did things get better?
And what is the truth? What was true about evolution fifty years ago may not be true today. So how do we know what is true and what isn't? The bible has not changed. It is and will always stay the same. So if something were to be proven wrong, then all of creation is wrong. But it hasn't been. It has stood true throughout all of history, while evolution is continually changing.Author's Note
I'm sorry for not updating in forever. And I don't think I made all of the points, but that's all I could find from my notes. I have been writing but not here and I apologize. I think, I'm going t pause on writing for this story and all the others because I'm starting a Christmas book that I want to finish by Christmas.
It will be the Christmas story in the form of a journal written by Joseph. Yes, boys writing journals, what? But, back then it was unusual for women to know how to read and write. So it was unlikely that Mary knew how. This will be my first story written in journal form, and first time writing from an all male's perspective. This is all my ideas, I've never seen anyone try the story from Joseph's point of view so if there are any similarities; it's pure coincidence. God bless and merry Christmas.
