"Bye boys!'' Mum said, shutting the door. I went into the kitchen and made some tea. "Do you know where Harry is?" Anne asked, sitting down at the table. "I think he is in his room," I sat down next to mum. "Hi!" Skyler skipped into the kitchen. "Hey! It feels like I never saw you today!" I said. "I know! I was hanging out with the guys," she said, a smile on her face. I wiggled my eyebrows at her. "Ew not like that you perv!!" she said, hitting my arm. "Well, ladies, I'm going to the store, need anything?" Anne said. Skyler whispered "coffee" in my ear. "Could you get some coffee mum?" I asked. "YOU want the coffee?" Anne asked. "Oh yeah! I have a sudden want for coffee!" I replied, sarcastically. "What kind do you want, love?" she said to Skyler. "It doesn't matter," Skyler said. "Well I don't normally buy coffee..." Mum said, walking out the door.
"So what do you want to do?" I asked, sitting on the couch. "Have you talked to Harry?" Skyler asksd. "Erm no... I haven't got a chance." "Well here's your chance!" "Ugh do I have to?!" "Yes you should never leave a fight unresolved!" "Stop quoting Taylor Swift!" "Trust me not trying! TRUST ME!! But you really should go talk..." "Do you have to be right?" "Yes I always am!" "Fine... Whatever." I said, getting up and going to his room.
I knocked on the door. "Who is it?" Harry said. "Brooke." "What do you want?" "Harry we need to talk sooner or later!" "Well I choose later!" "Well that's a shame, let me in." Harry opened the door and motioned me to come in. "Thanks..." I said awkwardly. We just sat there not saying anything. "...Well..." Harry finally said. "Well what?" "Well are you going to apologize?" "For what? Hanging out with a friend?" "No going on a date behind my back!" "I didn't go behind your back! I told you I was going out for pizza with Niall!" "So you were going out!" "With a friend! Gosh you are such a drama queen!" "Oh yeah I'M the drama queen!" "That would be correct! And you should be apologizing to me!" "Why?" "You flipped out when you thought I was dating Niall! We are just friends! Can't I make new friends? The only friend here is Skyler and she will be leaving!" I spat at Harry. "Well find a friend that's not Niall!" Did Harry just say that to me? "Do you really think you can stop me? I'm an adult I can decide who my friends are without your help!" I said and then walked back to the living room.
"Well that went peachy!" I said, tears threatening to pour out. "Hey hey, it's okay. I know you will work this out he's probably just trying to adjust to you being here!" Skyker said, enveloping me in a hug. "Yeah... Hopefully." "Well I'm going to bed... It's way to late for me and plus jet lag is a pain in the ass!" Skyler said, going down stairs.
I just sat there for a moment. Gosh Harry! Way to ruin my day! "Brooke? are you still up?" Harry's voice said from the hallway. "Yeah..." I mumbled. Harry walked out of the darkness of the hallway and say down on the opposite couch, facing me. I didn't make eye contact, I just focused in the intriguing carpet. "I'm sorry..." Harry said a little louder than a whisper. I glanced at him quickly. "Me too..." "No don't be you didn't do anything wrong. It's just not easy seeing you twin sister that you never even knew existed until 2 days ago hang out with your best mate... You know?" "Yeah..." "And you're right... I don't control who you hang out with..." I looked at Harry and he was sincerely sorry, I just knew. I didn't really know how to respond to him. I just gave him a small 'apology accepted' smile.
"Hello! How are you guys still up! I'm so tired!" Mum said, cheerfully, walking in with grocery bags. "Oh we were just talking," Harry said, helping mum with the bags. Anne slightly nodded, "Where is Skyler?" "She went to bed, she has a bad case of jet lag," I replied, "Well I'm off to sleep too! See you tomorrow morning!"
