SKYLER'S POV

"Skyler, I think we need to break up," Harry said, his words like knives.

"What? Why?" I said, tears threatening to spill at any moment.

"I just think it's time," he said, looking at the ground.

"Is there someone else?" I said, barely audible.

"Not exactly," Harry said.

"What? There is someone else!" I said in disbelief, "If you're trying to sugar coat this, don't. Please just tell me how it is."

"Skyler, I hate myself for what I did-"

"Stop talking around this!" I cut him off.

"I cheated," he whispered. A tear rolled down my cheek followed by many more.

"Leave, just leave!" I said, pointing to the door.

"Skyler I-"

"No Harry, I don't want to hear it. Just get out," I insisted.

"I'm so sorry," Harry said walking out the door.

How could he? I thought we were fine! Why would he do this to me? What did I do?

I sat on the couch, sobbing.

NIALL'S POV

Brooke was asleep and I was bored, it was only 10 and I don't usually go to bed that early so I went down to the bar in the hotel.

I ordered a few nonalcoholic drinks, stupid laws, before I noticed Harry sitting at the other end of the bar. I didn't really want to go talk to him but at the same time I did. I know Brooke wouldn't like me talking to him, but before I could talk myself out of talking to him I was already sitting in the seat next to Harry.

"Niall? Harry asked, his eyes were red.

"Yeah," I said cautiously.

"I figure Brooke already told you, but I feel terrible," Harry said.

"Yeah Brooke told me. What did you say to Skyler?" I ssked.

"I broke up with her," he said quietly, "I hate myself."

"Harry, I'm not saying that what you did was right but I'm not going to shut you out of my life. You are still my friend and I want to help you, so why don't you go to bed. You have had quite an emotionally draining day," I said, patting him on the back.

Harry didn't reply, he just got up and I walked with him to the elevator. When we got to our floor Harry turned to me, "Thanks Niall."

"Anytime Harry," I said, walking in my room.

I changed into sweats and went to bed.

When I woke up, I heard Brooke in the main room talking on the phone. It was 12:30 so I got up and went to where she was.

"Are you sure you don't want to get a hotel in London?" Brooke said into the phone, I figured it was Skyler on the other end.

I got a banana from the small fruit bowl they provided and sat on the couch waiting for Brooke to be done chit chatting.

"Ok, I'll come to your room before I leave," she said, hanging up.

"Skyler? I asked.

"Yup," Brooke sighed, taking a seat next to me, "She decided that she doesn't want to come back to London for a while."

"I figured," I replied.

"Yeah, so. I was going to go to her hotel today, but she's booked with swim celebratory things. She doesn't want to go, but at the same time she can't hide and make everyone suspicious, you know?" Brooke said.
