Chapter Twelve

SKYKER'S POV

I finally got up after I had pressed snooze probably 20 times. I looked at my blinding iPhone and saw it was 12:30! I rushed to the bathroom and got ready for what was left of the day. I put on my favorite Pink yoga pants and an oversized sweater then but my hair up in a messy bun. I went upstairs to see everyone eating lunch. "Are you just now waking up?" Brooke asked me. "Yeah... I pressed snooze a couple times..." I replied. "Well help yourself to any food," Anne told me. I made my self a sandwich and sat next to Brooke, "What are you doing today?" "I don't know, did you make any plans with the guys yesterday?" "No," I said. "Do you want to go shopping?" "Yeah!" "Alright!" "Harry why don't you let Brooke and Skyker borrow your car for the day so they can get around easier!" Anne said to Harry. "What?!" Harry said shocked. "Yeah it's just one day!" Anne replied. "They'll ruin it!" "No they won't!" Anne insisted. Brooke and I looked at him with puppy eyes. Harry rolled his eyes and sighed, "Fineeeee." "Yesss!" Brooke whispered. "You break it you buy it!" Harry said.

"Here..." Harry held out his keys. Brooke tried to take them but he wouldn't let go. "You know in order to drive I need the keys..." Brooke said. "Yeah and in order to crash you need the keys!" "Well I'm the best driver ever!" "It's true!" I chimed in. "It better come back in one piece!" Harry said, giving Brooke the keys. "Whatever you say... Dad..." Brooke said, whispering 'dad.'

We got into Harry'a black Mustang. "Nice ride he's got here!" I said. "I know and I get to drive it!" Brooke said, turning the car on. I turned the radio on and we started singing to 'My Sings Know What You Did in The Dark.' "So where do you want to go first... There are some cute shops in the downtown area," Brooke asked me. "Sure let's go downtown!" I replied. "Ok!"

We parked in front of a cute little shop that sold dresses, shoes and hats. We went inside and I saw the cutest sun dress, I would buy it but... It's almost February. But I grabbed it and some other dresses anyways and tried them on. Brooke and I showed each other the dresses we picked out and put hats on. "Smile!" I said, taking out my iPhone and snapping a picture of us. We didn't buy anything but I would have if it was nicer out.

We walked to different stores and we bought some cute clothes! We decided to go to a small cafe and Brooke got some tea and I got coffee. We sat in a small booth by a window. "Harry and I ate breakfast here one morning... It was nice spending time with just him... You know?" Brooke told me as she sipped her tea. "I wish I had an older brother... But no I get stuck with the annoying little brother!" I replied. "Oh come on he's not THAT annoying!" "Yeah he is! Now that he can drive he's always obsessing over cars and trying to get me to help him and nags ALL the time!" "Well do you want to switch brothers?" "Yes!!" "Well too bad, I actually like having a brother..." What? Brooke actually liked having a sibling? She was always spoiled as a kid and growing up... She always got the biggest birthday parties and everything she wanted, just because she was an only child. To be honest I was always a little jealous, but she's a good friend.

"Skyler?" Brooke said, taking me out of my thoughts. "Oh sorry just thinking..." I replied, giving her my full attention. "So you know how yesterday Harry got all mad at me for thinking I was dating Niall?" "Yeah..." "Well Niall and I decided to go behind Harry'a back and go out tonight to a movie." "So you are dating?" "No I just don't want Harry to flip out like he did." "Oh I see so how are you going to get out of the house without Harry knowing?" "Well we worked everything out last night and he said that it's not his job to tell me who I can and can't hang out with, so I don't know if I should just tell him I'm hanging out with Niall tonight or sneak out..." "Well I think honesty is always better, especially after you both made up. You wouldn't want to give him another reason to think you are dating." "Right..." "Just be honest with him!" "Fine... Let's go."

We left and went back home. "Is she okay?!" Harry immediately said when he saw we were home. "Who?" Brooke asked. "My car you moron!" "Oh no... Well a car was sorta sticking out in the road and I erm well sorta scraped the door. But just a little you can hardly notice it, I promise!" Brooke joked with Harry. Harry must have bought it because he ran out of the house like it was on fire. "Brooke!" Anne said. She bought it too. "I'm just kidding, no harm was caused to his precious car," Brooke giggled. "Harry's gonna have a fit!" Harry came back, "Brooke where is it?" "I told you! You can hardly see it!" "Because it doesn't exist!" I said. "Wha-?" "Yeah we were just messing with you!" Brooke said in between laughs, "You should have seen your face! It was priceless!" "Mum!" Harry whined. "Harry I'm going to have to agree with Brooke it was pretty funny..." Anne said, laughing a little. "Watch your back Brooke..." Harry said, walking past Brooke. Brooke faked a scared look.

BROOKE'S POV

I walked over to Harry after his little comment. "Oh I'm soooo scared!" I said to him. "Haha you should be!" he said, joking. "Haha... Can I talk to you?" "Sure, what is it?" "Well... Can we talk outside?" "Brooke what's wrong?" Harry asked as we walked outside.
