Niall went first and opened the old doors. We walked in to a lobby with few people congregating and sipping wine. They were talking in French, of course, so I couldn't understand what they were talking about. Niall led me to a grand staircase.

"Grand escalier," Niall said as he motioned to the staris. I have him a balnk, confused look. "It means grand staricase, in French."

"Oh, grand escalier," I repeated.

"A little less American and a bit more French, then you'll have it," Niall said, critiquing my French speaking skills, or lack of.

We had walked up to the first floor and Niall led me tho three more floors until we stopped on the fourth. Where more stairs were waiting for us and I really started to regret wearing heals. We walked up the narrow set of stairs and were standing on the top of the building with a view of the Eiffel Tower. There was a table with a candle and dinner waiting for us.

"Niall," I said as he guided me to the table and pulled on my chair for me.

"Brooke," Niall mocked, with a grin.

I sat down and he walked over to the other side of the table and copied my actions.

We began eating the delicious food that was set before us. Spaghetti and meatballs, and breadsticks. I know it's not much but the fact that Niall went through all this trouble to make this possible makes up for the small dinner. But knowing Niall we'll go out for dessert or something.

"Brooke," Niall said, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah," I replied.

"Do you wanna know why I flew you and I out to Paris?" Niall asked, scooting his chair back.

I nodded, letting him know he could continue.

"Well," he stood up, "I've been meaning to ask you this for a while now. I know we only met a few months ago," he bent down on one knee, "But," he looked down at the ground and started tying his shoe.

I started getting teary eyed through his small speech, but broke out laughing when he tied his shoe. After his shoe was tied, he sat back in his chair.

"I literally thought you were gonna pop the question!" I said.

"What question?" Niall asked with a grin.

"You know..." I hinted.

"Please enlighten me with what question that may be," he replied.

"Will you marry me," I said, giggling.

"I think you're moving a little fast why don't we wait a bit," Niall laughed.

"Haha," I mocked.

We finished our food and then walked the multiple flights of stairs back to the lobby and to Niall's car. We drove back to the hotel and went straight to bed.

The next morning we woke up considerably early and walked around Paris.

First we got some breakfast at a small café and had a quick breakfast and walked around an outdoor market.

"It smells so good," I commented on all the fresh fruit and vegetables.

"Yeah," Niall agreed.

We bought some produce and kept looking. Up the road, there was a crêpe place. We stopped their briefly and ate a delicious crêpe.

We hung around the hotel room until later that night.

We drove to the Eiffel Tower and it was all lit up and looked gorgeous.

We took the elevator to the top to see the breath taking view.

"It's so pretty at night," I said, looking over the city of lights.

"Yeah," Niall agreed.

Niall wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his chin on my shoulder, "I love you," he whispered.

I smiled and looked at him, "Dido."

"That's all I get? Dido?" Niall pouted.

"Fine. Dido," I said, giving him a kiss.

"Much better," he murmured to my lips, then resumed.

Today was our last full day in Paris, and Niall said he had something special plan. I got dressed in jeans and a sweater, since it was a little chilly out today. Niall, obviously, didn't say where we were going.

"I love you Brooke," Niall said as we drive to the secret location.

"I love you too Niall," I replied.

After about 20 minutes of driving we pulled in front of a river. We walked a couple minutes until we were on a bridge with a chain link fence. Multiple people were taking pictures with the locks that were locked on the fence.

"Pick a spot," Niall said.

"What do you mean," I asked.

"Remember that lock we bought at the beginning of the trip," Niall said, taking out that lock that now had N&B inscribed in the gold.

I turned around towards the fence and located an empty spot for our lock. Niall closed the lock around the fence and locked it with the key.

"Would you do the honours?" Niall asked, handing me the key.

I took it and threw it over fence and into the river and turned to Niall with a big smile.

"I love you," he said, kissing me.

"I love you more," I replied, smiling on his lips.
