BROOKE'S POV
"Hey Harry, can I talk to you?" I asked.
"Can it be later? I have plans right now," he said, slipping on his coat and shoes.
"Oh, well it's important," I continued.
"Can it wait?" Harry asked.
"I guess..." I said.
"Thanks, don't let the guys burn the house down," Harry said, walking out the door.
I walked back to the kitchen where Liam was making dinner.
"Whatcha cooking?" I asked, taking a seat next to Louis at the bar.
"My famous spaghetti and meatballs!" Liam replied in his muscle man apron.
"Can spaghetti and meatballs be all that famous, it's like the easiest meal to make..." I said.
"It was a joke to make them sound more delicious," Liam said, in a 'dumbing it down' voice.
"Oh..."
"Yeah, Brooke, get with it gurl!" Louis sassed.
"What's wrong with you?" I asked.
"I think you should be asking yourself that," Louis returned.
Before I could respond me phone buzzed meaning I got a text.
Skyler: Heyy! I've got this meet tomorrow and if we come in first we are guaranteed a spot in the Grand Prix! Wish me luck!
Me: Omg! Good luck!! I know you guys will come in first you're that awesome!!
I totally forgot about this meet, if they don't do well then they don't go to the Grand Prix, which means I can't surprise Skyler so I'm praying that they get to advance to the Grand Prix!
"Was that your lover texting you?" Louis asked, looking over my shoulder and at my phone.
"No. Mind your own business, Tomlinson!" I said, getting off the bar stool and going to the living room with Zayn.
I sat down on the couch opposite of Zayn, "What's on?"
"The news," Zayn replied, staring at the TV.
"I thought you don't watch the news, too many rumors?" I pondered, more confused than I was in the kitchen.
"That's gossip shows. The news tells us important things that happened in London today," Zayn explained.
I got really bored because they were talking about stuff I didn't really care about so I went to my room. I opened my laptop and signed into twitter. I had gained thousands of followers and had tons of mentions.
I scrolled through some followers and followed some of them back, then through the mentions and favorited a couple of those. After a while, I got really tired, so I laid down for a quick nap before dinner.
"Brooke, wake up. It's time for dinner," a familiar Irish accent said into my ear.
"Five more minutes," I whined.
"No, we're all waiting on you!" Niall whined back.
"Ugh, will you carry me?" I asked, still half asleep.
"Fine," he reluctantly said, picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
"I didn't mean like this!" I laughed.
"Oh I'm sorry princess," he said putting me down then bowing at me.
"You're so weird sometimes," I laughed even more.
